DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! They are racist and have a history of denying future residents based off things that don’t matter. Needs better management! My rental history has been ran and I’m not even a resident at the property will NEVER rent from the people based off reviews ; when addressed the issue on how my children’s father was treated. My sister also rented from these people that treated her very poorly. If you want a nice home dealing with nice people DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I never left a review but figure I'd warn yall. These ppl had us pay the deposit fee as normal anywhere. But when we moved in to the house it had cigarette burnt carpets, stains and took 3 full tanks of straight sand/dirt in the vacuum. When we inspected the house with the lady from up the office before moving in she said don't worry about the carpet they will be replacing it when we move out later. I said that's great bc I don't want to worry about it. Well we paid rent on time all the time hardly had any problems with the house ever fixed and when we moved out they tried to tell us we had to be there for a home inspection and pay professionals to come clean the carpet. I was working out of town so I never went to this little house walk down. They than kept my deposit and also added an additional 1200 dollars to me and sent it to collections. While living there we fixed the skirting that was never on the house, added mulch flower gardens around it and we cleaned the carpet numerous times with carpet cleaners. The place looked better when we moved out and this is how they treated me. Bunch of thieves stealing money legally.

These people are a joke !!! They will take your application fee will never run a check on you but find anyway to deny the application. I paid my application fee just for her to say my income was unverifiable I gave them legit bank statements. I own my own business which was started this year so tax returns was something I couldn’t provide. Her response to my bank statements was anyone could have made those deposits into your account. I feel robbed and I feel I was discriminated against I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Do not waste your time with these people. The lady took my application fee, made me put my daughter on the lease who does not live with me and charged me for that too. Then when she introduced me to the owner, he asked the most racist, stereotypical thing he could which was "are you going to have men running in and out all times of night? How many kids?"
She then never contacts me. I call her, she said I was denied. Then after I rent from one of the more reputable rental companies (Holtzman) that approved me immediately. She calls me 3 weeks into that lease and says in order to proceed with my application, she needed my pay stubs (which I gave her on day one). I'm glad I was just shopping around when I went to their office because the experience was trash. I'm sure they'll reply with some smart comment, but believe me... This happened. These people are not it.

**Update! See, how they left a trash of lies for the response. I have every bit of proof. Still have the front desk lady stupid voice-mail downloaded. Still have proof that she sent me to view a house by the Walthourville Walmart. I know exactly who I'm talking about! It's that racist trailer right down and across the street from Popeyes. Believe everything I said. They trash.

An awesome company to rent from!! We never had an issue from the owners or employees with David McDonald Rentals. Ms. Anna was such a delight to work with throughout our year lease with them. Great people giving others a comfortable home to live and grow in. If we decide to move back, I’ll be giving them a call. Thank you for your hard work and guidance throughout our renting process. True rockstars!

Hey I have been a tenant for about 3 years. It has been an easy process for me. I really enjoyed the place I rented. I appreciate them for first allowing me to rented from them and working with me. Never had any problems of rent change or any disrespect when I needed other assistance. They were there to guide me. I would recommend David McDonald Rental!!

Been renting through this company for the last 9 months. Absolutely no issues with them until after we put in our 30 day notice. We were a little late with paying rent on last month there, had until the 15th and was called on the 14th being told if we didn't have the rent in by the end of work day they would issue an eviction notice ( when we had until the 15th which I reminded them of) and then our move out agreement was changed ( yes we didn't get it in writing which was our mistake ). When on the phone I could hardly get a word in and the office lady kept talking over me to the point of where I had to say hey can I please talk to even get a word in. Honestly oneof the rudest people I've ever talked to.
