Exceptional Service from Amber and Nate at Covey Homes!

We have had the absolute pleasure of renting with Covey Homes at Southampton, and we can’t say enough about the amazing experience we've had, thanks to the incredible property managers, Amber and Nate.

From the very start, Amber was incredibly welcoming and professional, walking us through every detail of the renew-leasing process. She made sure that we felt comfortable with everything and went above and beyond to answer any questions we had, always with a smile. She truly made us feel like a priority.

Nate has also been an outstanding resource. Whether it was handling maintenance requests or providing prompt communication, he’s been on top of everything. We can always count on him for quick responses and a resolution to any concerns. His proactive approach to ensuring the property is well-maintained shows how much care he puts into his work.

Together, Amber and Nate create a seamless and positive living experience. They are attentive, responsive, and genuinely care about making sure tenants are happy. The attention to detail and the level of service they provide truly sets Covey Homes apart from other rental properties we’ve experienced. Also throw really good community events as well!

Please note, I've been at Covey Homes at Southampton for just over a year, and we've have different managers previously. Amber and Nate are by far the best. There may be previous/older reviews stating bad experiences from previous management, which may not have been specifically stated. I definitely urge to read the most recent reviews.

But, if you're looking for a place/home to rent, I highly recommend Covey Homes at Southampton. Amber and Nate will ensure you're in great hands, and their commitment to making the rental experience exceptional is unmatched!

I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Amber the Assistant and Nate the Community Manager. I can't speak highly enough about their incredible staff! From the moment I reached out they were friendly, professional and personal. They take took their time to listen to my needs, answered all of my questions, and was very knowledgeable about each floor plan. They are not only professional but also genuinely caring, which makes the whole process feel personal. The whole process to apply with them is simple and quick. They have a very quick response time as well. Leave a message and someone calls you back. I would highly recommend Covey Homes to anyone looking for top - notch experience with an amazing staff who truly cares about your needs as well as a newly built, clean community with reasonable rates decent property to live with your family. They deserve all the 5 star and more....

Loved the management when I first got here, kind and graceful, but was hard to find someone when you ACTUALLY needed them. (with the exception of maintenance, because they’re always on it.) New management? Very rude. Need them? They absolutely won’t be in the office. If that trash can sits out there past 12:00:00pm on Tuesday, though, that golf cart will be in your yard STAT. Kindness is the least we could get seeing that the only time we see them is when they’re complaining about something. Other than that, it’s a pleasure living here. Idk if it’s Covey, but the leasing staff sucks no matter who is here. Also, the amenities are almost always out when you need them. The pool had to be opened for the remainder of 2024 bc they failed to have it ready before school came in. After school started, on the most important day for the pool, the grills and the vibe (Memorial Day), the pool closed the entire holiday weekend…. It truthfully is nice living here, but the turnaround on the staff makes it hard to get comfortable in the assurance of the apartment. Warning: it’s almost like living in an HOA. Try to live as perfect as possible bc when you have an inconvenience, the staff does NOT CARE.

We stopped about 5:15 and asked for a tour of the model homes and we were told the do not do any tours after 5, even though the office hours are until 6. We were told we could come back for a tour. I asked for info on the homes and was told we could find everything on the website. I asked about assn fees because I did not see the amount or what it covers. Also had several other questions because I was very interested to know about this development. The lady that we were speaking to really didn’t care and it felt like she just wanted to get rid of us. We told her we would be back Friday between 4-4:30 for a tour, she advised they were having an event for the kids and no tours would be given after 1 on Friday. Also they are not open on Saturday or Sunday. We asked about the layout and available units and she was very snippy, told us to look on the board for the available units. We came to the realization that she is not paid a commission so she could care less. Very unprofessional and horrible customer service. We finally went back to our car. We sat in the vehicle until 5:45 looking for a place to eat, when both of the office people walked out of the building and left, even though it states they are open til 6:00. After they left we spoke to a few of the current residents who told us the management company and maintenance are very bad and very unprofessional. They told us it would be in our best interest not to pursue a place here. We were also told the model homes were within walking distance of the sales office, which we thought we could have gotten tours of the models for the amount of time the lady we talked to inside was trying to get rid of us. I have looked at the reviews and we have decided to pass this place up. To bad we are relocating from Wisconsin. I am also going to contact corporate office to let them know how unprofessional their office staff is and how rude they were. Stay clear of this place . Please do not send me a canned reply, if you really take this serious then tell me

From the moment we walked in we knew were home. We were greeted with kindness and warm smiles and the genuine want for us to make this our new home. It was really one of the best decisions we made. Ebony was our agent and she made it such a happy experience for me and my husband. Ebony and Nadine both have been absolutely wonderful and myself, my husband, and our children are happy to call the cottages home.

I have lived here for over a year and the new management is horrible. Office hours are supposed to be 10 to 6 but rarely someone is in the office during that time. If you call with an issue you will automatically get the voicemail even during regular business hours. I dread having to reach out to property management for anything it’s a nightmare. Be careful there’s no way this is a 5 star property I believe most of the good reviews are fake. I’m updating my review to add pictures of my broken dishwasher it’s been over a week smelly mildew water. Management is non responsive. If you read all the reviews from different sources you will see a clear pattern of what it’s like living here, it’s not 5 stars…

Updating my review…not only is management manipulating reviews (NOT 5 STAR PROPERTY) they are also lying in their response. I never got a call from anyone. My dishwasher was repaired yesterday 9/4/23 the work order I submitted was back dated by management saying it was repaired on 8/30/24 which is just a lie. If you sign a lease you will regret it…
