A great experience buying a home with Cothran. Connie is a delight to work with and worked with me for over a year answering questions, letting me know available properties, and finally working with me on the deal. She made the process easy, really knows all the aspects of the houses that they sell (and the neighborhoods to best suit your needs), and communicates quickly and efficiently as you are trying to figure out where you would like to live. I'm extremely pleased with how smooth the process has been and how honest she has been along the way to help me get to my dream home. Absolutely would recommend!

Quality of construction was not great and need to live with it now. There has not been proper insulation for Single Family homes at Holly Ridge. I had to call in the HVAC technician multiple times during winter and summer to see, if there is an issue with HVAC. Only after the technician brought in a scanner they found multiple spots in the home that are not properly insulated which is leaking all of the heat. We can only expect high monthly bills on Heat during Winter.

Serious lack of resolution on items pertaining to Vinyl Flooring. Had raised and called in multiple times during the 1 year warranty that the flooring doesn't seem proper. They are laid completely uneven at multiple spots and I was only said that this is how the Vinyl flooring would be. Being a 1st time homeowner, i too believed them. Now I see that there the Vinyl floor is just tearing apart at multiple spots and no one is willing to address it. Have been following up for months now. I would recommend anyone planning to buy home or within a 1 year warranty apply caution and have these addressed as you see.

I would say that at 54 years I have never worked with a group of people that genuinely cared about one another. Everyone at Cothran from administration to the vendors works as a team.

My aging parents is the only reason I’m leaving Corhran Homes. If it were not for this I would confidently be with them until I retired.

The culture of this company is the best I’ve ever been associated with.

Would suggest that if your bar of expectation for an employer is higher like mine this is a great place to work.

Christine has been very helpful towards my fiancé and I in purchasing our first home.

She has made herself available in answering all of our questions, working with us while we have had to visit the home multiple times before move in to measure and confirm layouts of the house while we bought appliances and has a great personality and mood when answering our questions no matter how repetitive or often they may be.

The quality of the home itself is excellent and we've had an easy experience with the builders fixing any small issue that our inspector found or that we found during our walkthrough. Overall the process has been painless (aside from spending money which will always be painful) but it's for a beautiful home that we can't wait to officially make ours.

Thank you Christine and the Cothran team for making our first home buying experience great. It has set the bar high for future home purchases we make in the future.

I purchased a Cothran townhouse 5 years ago and in November 2023 I noticed a leak on the ceiling in the laundry room. After futher inspection we discovered that it was coming from the attic. A drainage pipe had not been property sealed at the joint leading to the leak. I contacted Cothran and they responded very quickly. We sealed the pipe ourselves but they came and replaced the damaged drywall and painted it to look like new. They did not need to do this since the workmanship warranty had expired. It's awesome to see they care and are willing to go above and beyond from their homeowners.
