Corinne is *the best* agent I could have ever asked for. As a first time homeowner that knew nothing about buying or caring for a house, I feel truly blessed to have found Corinne to represent me through the buying process. She is patient, a fierce advocate, and acts with the utmost integrity. She happily showed any property I was even remotely interested in, inspecting every single house meticulously for defects or signs of damage. During the search, Corinne was perceptive enough to understand not only what I wanted in a first home (including wants I didn’t even verbalize!), but also what I could afford and what I should be willing to pay for the best value. I will never forget how Corinne dissuaded me from purchasing at least three of the properties we toured because they were not worth the price, in subpar locations, in poor condition because she would have advised her own friend or family member to do the same. Going through the home search process with Corinne was like doing so with a long time friend or close family member who really wants you to find what you are looking for, but one who has tons of experience in home buying. She was always honest and clearly always looking out for my best interests.

It was also such a relief to buy my first home with someone like Corinne who *really* knew what she was doing and always had the patience to go the extra mile. During the escrow process, she called and met with multiple contractors, carpenters, landscapers, inspectors, you name it in her network to negotiate the best prices for the best work. She even *crawled under the house herself* with a contractor to inspect the foundation and discuss a fair price for dry rot repair. You cannot make this up! Because she has so much experience with the local market, she was always one step ahead and never without a plan during the negotiation process. Yet somehow Corinne was always attentive to my comfort level and keenly aware of my risk tolerance with every move we made before closing. The home buying process is long and can be stressful, so I suggest having Corinne - with her knowledge, optimism, and good sense of humor - in your corner and it will feel like a breeze!

Corinne is a hidden gem! With tenacity and grace, she represented our interests as a low income buyer in Oakland. At the very beginning of the process, she advised we perform a home inspection with a reputable home inspector to verify the new construction we bought. This turned out to be a very good investment, because even though this is a brand-new house, there were many items the builder didn’t complete. Corinne was always focused on getting the results I was expecting. Even after giving me the keys to my house, she continued to represent my interests by getting the mandatory orientation class by the builder. They were not returning my calls.
