Excellent company with impeccable customer service. Communicative and well versed in the law and rules of HOA management. She manages HOA‘s very well and enforces the CCR’s so neighbors don’t have to. Most negative reviews are based on owners, not wanting to follow the rules that they signed up for when they bought into a community. Great office staff kind, and compassionate. I have never called and had them not answer the phone.

The best property management company I have ever dealt with as a homeowner and board member! Karina has made my job as HOA President so much easier as she has taken so much off of the board's plate that we had to manage with our previous company. And, she takes the heat off us. She allows herself to be the bad guy by enforcing rules and recovering money for damages so we board members can live in harmony with our neighbors. Karina is kind, fair, reasonable and respectful as well as firm. She responds quickly to us and owners in general. We get so many compliments from owners who thank us for finding her. And, she has saved us so much money!

I live in a 50 year old condo complex that has been neglected by previous management companies. When I first moved here, I tried several times to get some answers regarding issues and some repairs done, only to be given the runaround.
I became a HOA board member a few months before Complex Management became our management team, and as a homeowner and Board VP, the differences between the prior management and Karina and her team are night and day! Karina responds quickly and is well versed in our HOA CC&Rs and laws and regulations. She is fair and always willing to help when she can.
I highly reccommend Complex Managers and specifically Karina, she's the best!

I'm an owner at a condo complex that has had a lot of neglect with previous management companies. Since Complex Managers started just three months ago, they've made so many improvements and quickly. For example, we had a balcony that was hit by a trash truck and it didn't get repaired for 8 months under our old managers who claimed it was a long process. The same thing happened last week and Karina from Complex Managers had it fixed in days! She's so easy to reach and if she says she's going to do something, she does. She takes time to explain things and doesn't make you feel like you're bothering her even when you ask the same questions. She's a delight!

Worst company to work with! The negative reviews about this company and Karina Tatum are true. Pay attention to what majority of people are saying. Working with Karina and this company has been extremely unpleasant, and unprofessional. They will try to bully homeowners or simply not respond to HOA compliance requests. Our plumbing system in our condo complex has been left neglected causing harm to homeowners but they refuse to address the issue. Paint jobs on doors or throughout the complex is neglected as well despite multiple communications to get it done. Conducting hearings, meetings, or ensuring executive session meetings are enforced appear vague and lacking clarity. They don't make it clear to homeowners if they are operating in full compliance with civil code laws. They will send one formal notice to a homeowner regarding an issue and then fine you immediately after one official notice. If you want an HOA management company that will operate in the best interest of ALL homeowners, then go elsewhere! This company is a nightmare to work with!!

The most AWFUL property management company, specifically Karina Tatum.

As a homeowner who highly values ethical professionalism, this company exhibits the exact opposite. Our experience with them has been extremely unprofessional, lacking clarity, rude, hostile, and a bully-like manner. We do not appreciate the way they have handled our HOA affairs right from the beginning when we had to switch to their company. We have had a much better experience with MENAS HOA than with their establishment. Their websites are old and antiquated, not user-friendly, or visually appealing. You have to use multiple websites to access CC&R's, file maintenance requests, and pay HOA dues!

We have heard multiple complaints from our neighbors regarding their experience with Karina Tatum and Complex Managers Inc. Stay away from this company!!!!

As someone who owns more than one condo in San Diego, I have never had an HOA company operate in the way this company has. A few examples are, they have the Board President or a board member hold parking permits so you are at the mercy of the their already busy schedule. They will warn you that your car will get towed if you don't have a permit but in order to access a permit, you have to be at the mercy of a board member. Other HOA companies have actual offices where we are able to pick up parking permits during regular office hours. This company will basically do everything in their power to bully homeowners based on whoever they are "in cahoots" with on the board. They are extremely unprofessional and noncompliant with civil code laws.

This company has already tried to fine several homeowners in our condo complex based off of arbitrary events. They will fine homeowners left and right to make unethical monetary gain. This company is operating in crooked ways that benefits only a select few but not ALL homeowners. It is not worth the risk working with this company or person.

Lastly, there is no upper management...it is literally one person running this operation. When we requested to speak to someone in upper management, they told us that Karina is the only person who handles everything. This is so different from our experience with our previous HOA's who had an actual chain-of-command operating the establishment.

Rona and Jason/ODF Media,
As a board member, I'm sorry to hear you are having so much trouble understanding the communication. Complex Managers does have an office where you could've picked up the parking permits or had them mailed to you, as was explained in numerous emails and conversations. And their address and regular hours are listed on everything including our emails, community boards, online portal, their website and this Google site.

Our volunteer board members also had four onsite distribution opportunities on different days and at different times including weekends. But because of your schedule, I left your permits under my door mat so you could get them at your leisure since you were going out of town for a month. I'm sorry you felt bullied by my numerous warnings before you left, but I just didn't want to see you get towed while you were gone. I'm glad we were able to prevent that and give you peace of mind while you were away.
