I currently live at Atrium Villas in St Mary's. Atrium Villas is managed by Community Solutions. Atrium Villas certainly has its share of problems. The HOA fee is ridiculously high. The HOA board does nothing to solve problems. They seem to be better at creating problems. The latest problem that has occurred because of the HOA board is that residents and or guests may not park on the street or in the driveway. Please note that The Atrium Villas does not own the street. The street is owned by the city of Saint Mary's. They informed people to park in the overflow parking lot which they do not own. That area is privately owned by a local doctor. They have no right to tell people to park on somebody else's property. I have brought this to the attention of the HOA board several times and it has been ignored. This overflow parking lot that they illegally created is directly across from my house. So now I have a lovely view of a parking lot. I am paying $281 per month in HOA dues and my property is overlooking a parking lot. Also, one and a half year ago I was attacked by a man who was sitting in his car in the overflow parking lot. It was an absolutely terrifying experience. I immediately contacted the saint Mary's police and a police report is on file with the police department. When I brought this to the attention of the HOA board I was told that they cannot change the covenants. They also pointed out that I should walk under a light. Another board member suggested that I "should be packing" when I walked outside. My advice to all: Do not live at The Atrium Villas.

This company has been nothing but a headache for myself and my renters. They are unorganized, unavailable during work hours, and very rude when they are there. We are charged unreasonable fees for everything you can think of and our hands are tied when disputing because they are unwilling to explain. They turn the pool key off whevever they feel like it and it's a very difficult and lengthy process to get it turned back on, mainly because you can never get a hold of anybody. Melody is the person I have dealt with and I'm very discourage that this is the person with whom I will be dealing with in the future. I feel as if she owns my property....maybe she would like to pay the mortgage!
