My wife and I contacted First Class Mortgage based on a recommendation from our realtor. We were in the process of buying a new home in Rhode Island and were looking to take out a bridge loan for the deposit until our present home sold. We had done this once before while living in Connecticut back in 1986. Things have change tremendously since then and we were in need of expert assistance.
Putting a home on the market while purchasing a new home is stressful enough in itself. When you add the process of going from bank to bank in search for an interim loan it becomes even more complicated. Being able to have First Class Mortgage do all of that work for us saved us a ton of time and effort.
Gregory and Marianne were extremely helpful in guiding us through every step of the process. Everything is done online today. Both individuals were very patient and explained the process well from beginning to end.
As good fortune would have it, we were able to negotiate the sale of our home and the purchase of a new home before we actually closed on the loan. We no longer needed to borrow the money for the deposit. When I informed them of this, I expected a negative reaction. I got just the opposite from them. They congratulated us on our good fortune and thanked us for having chosen them. They were very professional and helpful. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.

I wish I could give more than 10 stars. Jim and his entire team were just amazing. Jim anticipated what the lenders would want from us and was proactive in preparing and submitting it. When issues did occur, Jim was right on top of it and told us exactly what the lender needed. He's responsive and honest;he doesn't "overpromise" but also doesn't give up. We believe we wouldn't have closed on our new home if it wasn't for Jim. We highly recommend him, and if you do go with him LISTEN and do what he tells you to do! He knows what needs to be done to get that mortgage.
