Only about economics and generate income as Dekalb county . I have 4 break inns and 2 of my trailers have been stolen and tiers dump on our property. Police arrival if any over 2 hours .
I brought a box truck to remove the tiers , we receive a citation for having a commercial vehicle on the property and not parked on a
Appropriate surface . Where are they when
Criminals are running around ? I barely see
Any police traffic on Rocland rd . So many
Violation on own dekalb county properties .

New resident of the brand new subdivision “Lakeview at Stonecrest” for 1 year and 4 months. We’ve had multiple attempted break ins and other incidents. Of the 4 times my neighbor and I called over the past year, the police never arrived a single time. We have camera footage and everything but no one comes to assist. I hope they respond if someone has a medical emergency. It’s so disheartening.

Code enforcement also never responded and several houses have overgrown weeds 3 ft high!

When searching for a home, our first thought was *not* to buy in Stonecrest, but a more affluent area where services respond and residents care about their property. Sadly the City of Stonecrest lives up to all the stereotypes.

So did a revised review today on 4/20/22. So I renewed my business license for 2022. Send it in via mail with my application and THE CHECK all in the same envelope! Somehow they deposited my check but they said they have never received my application that was with the check! Hmmm...now I'm going back and forth with these people over the phone with a third-party answering service. Smh. Help me God, please.

The city of Stone Crest is nice but the city officials are awful. I think they just wanted money to start a new city. Promised a lot of things to the residents but nothing as of now. The only thing they got was paying more taxes for NO REASON!!! They said they will have a police force but 2 years later nothing. The city of stone Crest doesn't have police officers!!!!! They are renting Dekalb county police officers. Takes them forever to get them out to the stone crest. I paid for my business license for 2018 in February of 2018. They call me in February of 2019 saying I never paid for 2018 business license fee. Just wow!!!!!

These people are the absolute worst!! I feel a more established city hall should run the place until these people learn what to do. I previously got a business license from them but when it got time To pay for it I didn’t because it was so close to January and I didn’t want to pay all over again. So on January 2 I come back to find out none of my paperwork was stored or filed away. I had paid money for one part of my license and thank God I kept the recipient because they sure as hell didn’t. Then I had to fill everything out again. I was told I would get a call back in 3 to 5 days WRONG!! But they didn’t do it the first time so honestly I was expecting it anyways. I came up there again and no one had a clue were my things were. Best answer I got was my paper work hasn’t been processed. Lol guess they will be processing my paperwork aka trying to find it.That place is truly the blind leading the blind. I hope to move my business to not deal with them. I’m sure they are nice people just lost

If there was a way to get less informed about anything contacting this clerks office is the way!

Filled out 3 separate open request docs, left several emails and voice messages just trying to find out information about a house I just purchased in Stonecrest.

Finally after 30days they responded asking if I filled out an open records document......still no help. Talked to someone other than Megan Reid and fortunately they were able to actually tell me they don't know anything. Did they give me a direction to go for a resource OF course not.

Quite possibly the worst experience Ive had with government.

As with any city, there is always going to be room for improvement. When I worked with City Hall for business, service was very professional. No long waiting like with the county. I've never had an issue conducting business. This is far better an experience than I would expect working with government.

New resident to be. Does Stonecrest have their own Police Dept. yet? Just reading reviews. If not how long is the response time from Dekalb Co. Police?

I have been unable to receive responses to questions until I persistently remind multiple city employees that I'm still waiting for a response - which repeatedly has taken more than 2 weeks. Application forms are vague and poorly written with unresponsive support which makes compliance very difficult.
