Every time I have emailed the permit department they have answered every question that I've had in a very prompt manner. They even took time to highlight areas from the building code and attach the information to the email so I knew exactly where to find the info I was looking for. Their online scheduling system is also excellent. I am able to made same day appointments and talk their always help staff

They pretend to not be in the office and refuse to return your call. One of the least intelligent building departments I've ever dealt with. The inspection supervisor there is great, but everyone else has no idea what they're looking at.
