I have lived here for over 8 years and it has been amazing. The office manager Destiny is Great! She is a great listener when it comes to our concerns about the property and our units and handles everything professionally. Between her and Ebony, service request are handled in a timely manner. I really appreciate them and enjoy living here!

Destiny doesn't do her job. She's never in the office or her door is closed and her assistant can't help you because she's not the manager. I suspect she's stealing the money that's supposed to go to pest control because the buildings are infested with bugs and the pictures they have up of the apartments are stock photos that are completely misleading. The apartments are all run down and just plain nasty. If your goal is to be miserable, uncomfortable and possibly catch a disease from all the bugs then this is the place for you. They go up on rent but nothing is ever fixed. Any reviews you see with 5 stars is clearly a family member, friend or someone that works there.

I felt it was a MUST that I make a comment on living at Height’s at Skyland. ONLY with the return of the best office manager that we’ve ever had, Destiny has there been such a difference in the atmosphere & appearance of the entire apt complex! With Ebony & Kiera part of office management as well as new maixtenance crew has made a huge impact on my decision to stay. The grounds are much cleaner, trash cleared quickly & loud noise not allowed at night! It is ONLY when Destiny’s here that apt rules are recognized & enforced. I’ve been a resident at Height’s on Skyland for 4 yrs now & have seen the office team change often, not always for the better. I know with Destiny & the crew we have now that I feel safer, things run smoothly & work orders are handled quickly. Any concerns or issues I’ve brought to her attention are immediately addressed. I can finally say I’m proud to call Height’s at Skyland home!

Terrible from Destiny down to maintenance . A/C consistently goes out through the entire complex. no new renovations but raised rent, pest control is very subpar, and maintenance is very slow on work orders.

New staff not friendly or helpful. Always changing something in the policy. Now there’s no grace period with rent. Maintenance never fixes anything always riding around on golf carts. I been here 4 yrs nothing has been updated in this apartment but our rent keeps rising. I will be looking into a different location soon.

If I could do no stars I would. The rent changes like every week. I went from $755 to $804. For a one bedroom apartment which is nor worth the price. When I moved in the place was half clean. They promised me linoleum instead of carpet. And they really never painted. My door looks horrible. They really need to get rid of the $100 late fee. Maybe they could keep tenants. I'm gonna see what the new management plan to do with the property. But they have a good pet policy.

While I have not lived there, I can give you my experience just driving through the complex to deliver Uber orders. There is almost no lighting at night. They painted the building numbers the same color as the brick it's on so it makes it very hard to see. The layout of the complex is terrible, you can get lost easily. There's no signage so you don't really know where you're going. All of this makes just delivering orders there a pain, so I couldn't imagine actually living there

Very bad place to live, owner Susan will hang up on you and won’t let you get a word in the conversation if you contact her. There is a maintenance man named Dale who hits on tenants, text them creepy things will stare at you non stop, and it honestly makes me scared to live here. He’s not allowed in my apartment to fix anything any more but before when he was I had underwear come up missing. I also had my keys stolen from my door one day when I forgot them in my door and the on call security guard never answered my phone calls and the office couldn’t get in touch with him and I was told that he would call me back but I never received a phone call back or anything. The only way I found my keys were by a AirTag and the people who took them throw them into the woods. Our ac has been broken on and off for 6 months, it’ll work for a week then die and they will fix it or say give it a couple days and it still won’t be fixed. There are roaches in every building, and they will spray for the bugs but they always come back. The rent might be cheaper but it’s for a reason, and make sure that you see your apartment before you sign the lease, not just the model or one like it.
