Carlton Mgt manages several private communities in the upstate of SC. He took over the management of Chatelaine community, and did not even have a maintenance company in place to service the community. For the last three yrs the Mgt company that previously had the contract he has used their maintenance company. He is very slow on resolutions, and it took me 3 months to have a roof leak repaired, and garage ceiling painted. The crew was so bad they came three times, until the President of the HOA offered to hire an outside contractor. At this point I was so frustrated not being able to park in my garage, I accepted the poor work. Mr. Carlton was of absolutely no assistance. Six months later the contracted roofing vendor, and approved vendor for the HOA he is suppose to oversee gave my inspection, and pictures taken of my property to a 3rd party potential buyer of my home. When I brought this to Scott Carlton’s attention he said he would contact the Board. I never heard another word from him.
