Been here for some time now, property is always clean and maintained. Pool area and clubhouse are always available which is nice.
Apartment is spacious and beautiful with a built in garage!
Office and maintenance staff have always been helpful!

Stayed there for a few years. Management is very bad and rude especially the white/Mexican girl. Hot tub was close off for a few months, fire place near pool doesn’t work. Also had to deal with a few loud neighbors who had small parties and stuff. Security on the property is almost not existent they don’t respond and don’t deal with parking issues or loud neighbors. Another thing was people would always steal my parking spot and then I would have to park way off the property. Neighbors would leave trash and stinky stuff out front for trash collectors and it would stink up the stairways and attract flies. And dogs are allowed in these apartments so I would have to deal with dogs barking sometimes. There was an ant infestation in my apartment and neighbors apartment for a few days. The TRAIN nearby wakes you up everyday and is super loud. The maintenance people are nice. But the front desk people are super rude. For the price you can find somewhere better I’m sure.

We have had a great experience living here for the past couple of years. The pool is great, the gym is convenient and clean, repairs are fixed quickly. Demetrius and maintenance have been very professional and responsive when an issues arises. I can see that management is working hard to maintain the property and I appreciate that.

Management is rude and scammy not to mention all the other annoying stuff. Couldn’t wait for my lease to end and get the heck out of this place. Loud neighbors, dogs barking, hot tub not working, fire place in pool not working, gym smells like trash, neighbors having small parties, people taking your parking spot, security does nothing, management does nothing, people leave their trash out that stinks and attracts flies on the stairways, people cooking smelling foods, and the apartment complex is right next to a railroad and the train is very loud and wakes me up. The white/Mexican girl is the rudest front desk person. No first aid kit near the pool either so bring your band aids and other stuff. The grill near the pool is dirty and most of the time unusable. Just happy I’m leaving this place.

This apartment complex is a nightmare to live in with extreme poor management company that would lie to you just to get you to sign up for a lease with them. My family and I had the worst experience living here for one year. We couldn’t wait for our lease to end to get out of this miserable living situation. Do not be fooled by the nice layouts or by a simple apartment tour. These apartments were built so poorly. You can literally hear everything your neighbors do throughout the day/night and you will have no privacy due to the fact these apartments have extreme poor insulation. Being on the second floor with neighbors upstairs and downstairs made our living situation the worst of both worlds. Our downstairs neighbors complained and harassed us everyday from simple movements we would make at our home such as lightly walking, using the bathroom or cleaning. My kids were not able to play or run around the apartment like normal kids can because the neighbors would immediately use the broom to knock aggressively at our floor, harass us verbally or blast music to express their anger. Our upstairs neighbors slightest movements sounded so loud because of the poorly built roofs. We brought this up to the management company and were told apparently the contractors who built this apartment complex did a poor job with the insulation and that they were not able to help us with the constant harassment we were experiencing daily from the downstairs neighbors. They of course did not share any of this information prior to our move although they knew of this big issue from former and current residents. Because of their lack of action, we even had to resort to calling the police few times as the neighbors harassment got to very aggressive levels that left my family and little children feeling unsafe and anxious the whole time. Please do yourself a favor and find another place to live than this apartment complex if you value your wellbeing and money.

HIGHLY NOT A RECOMMENDED PLACE TO STAY/RENT WITH/LIVE IN!!! DON'T DARE TO RENT THIS PLACE AT ALL! Here's our experienced and experiencing. We are still renting because we have no choice but stay because of the lease contract (We can't afford to pay that expensive breach of contract equivalent to 2months rent that we have to pay)At first, processing are good and we scout the place(but not the actual unit we living in right now) and it's good. Let me tell you this, the very first day we moved in, we've notice that the AC wasn't cooling (that's was July FYI during summer)and the we immediately called about it and they promptly put a service order on it but it took almost 2months just to figure it out the main problem of the AC. I bought stand fans to accommodate my 3 children (2yrs old, a 7 and a 10yrs old kids) and wife's complains. My wife were having an asthma attack almost everyday. They have to sent in the most experienced guy to resolve it and as I said it took almost 2 months. They were in and out of the unit almost 3x a week. We have to open the sliding door to let some cool breeze in BUT we have to sacrifice the train noise and gas smell. Not only that, the very next day, we were infested with ANTS. I have to buy an insecticide because the exterminator had it's schedule to inspect it or resolve it. We complained it but the manager said it was emailed to the corporate office 4 months ago but until now NO REPLY! Fall pass by and Winter came... still no reply for some incentives for that BAD Experience we had. NOW, We decided and called to switch back/turn on the cooling of the AC because it started to warm up a BIT (well hey got 3 kids to accommodate). Then this happen, 2 weeks ago until now we are smelling a very BAD ODOR(Smells like dead rats near the exhaust or AC). At first we thought it's coming from the bathroom, so we cleaned it and disinfected the whole unit. But THE SMELL IS STILL THERE... again we called and the management is accommodating for service to put on but we have to wait till next week for this to resolve. We ask for transfer but we are being told to pay some transfer fees for this... I mean come on! It's a Health Hazard place and unfair act of accommodation. FEES? I'm appealing to the National Housing Authority! Please help us out!

The level of professionalism and courtesy at this leasing office is absolutely unacceptable and shows that the complex does not care for its residents. I have never met an office staff as incompetent and rude as the one in the office. Averen's lack of response, professionalism and attentiveness is not reflective of what I expect from leasing and management offices. I do not plan on renewing my lease if this is the level of service this complex will continue to present.

Having only lived here for 1 month and never written a review about an apartment before I am sad that I even have to type this.

This apartment community is not safe. The community doesn’t do anything to secure the safety of its residents and as such you will feel threatened and unsafe in this community.

The apartment community claims that it is dog friendly yet has sent two letters (addressed to all residents) within the 4 weeks we have lived here threatening residents with lease termination about dogs. As a dog owner I was appalled by this in a ‘dog friendly’ community and I have never seen any dogs acting in a dangerous or destructive manner.

There are safer, dog friendly communities in the area.
