Bryan was great to work with! Being a first time buyer he really took his time to walk through everything and made sure we understood what was going on. We refinanced our mortgage last summer with Bryan Kelly at Guaranteed Rate. It was the best refinancing experience that I have ever had. I tried to refinance a few years earlier but had difficulty because I am self-employed. I had been approached by a mortgage broker and paid a $500 processing fee. After weeks and weeks of submitting and resubmitting documents we were turned down, even though we have high credit scores. Of course, we did not get the $500 back. I had pretty much given up on the idea when I heard Bryan give a talk about refinancing as rates were dropping. The process could not have gone more smoothly. Guaranteed Rate’s software is very sophisticated and thorough. We submitted the required documents very easily online. I do not think they missed anything – I don’t recall having to send anything extra. A few weeks later Bryan back with an unbelievable offer on a 10-year loan. We went from 4.5% to a 2.875%. We were able to cut 10 years of the 20 years we had left, saving us over $100,000. The new mortgage is only slightly higher than what we were paying. Bryan and his team were there for us the entire time – sending out emails and answering our questions - before we knew we had any questions. Bryan is a truly nice, fun guy with a great sense of humor. You definitely feel that he has your back. Bryan is extremely knowledgeable. He presents you with all the options in a very clear way so you’re not overwhelmed. And finally, it was the first closing that I didn’t have to go to a title company. We were able to do all the signing online and then his agent came to our house where we sat on the patio drinking wine while she processed the final paperwork.
