Working with Kim is amazing. She is super thorough and detail-oriented and has a great personality to boot. She is easy going and accommodating but will ensure she really understands your needs, and is great about communicating on different options and helping you understand why something will work, and why it may not - and what good alternatives might be. I am so happy with Brick and Beam’s services and highly recommend them! Kim, the owner, was extremely responsive to my messages, very professional, highly organized, and amazing at what she does! She really did a fantastic job helping me to very quickly bring to live my living room and dining room to life! The only thing I regret is truly not having done it sooner! Especially with spending more time at home than ever, I now love the space I am in.

Kim has such a great eye and very quickly figured out my style and preferences. One of the most helpful things that impressed me the most was her incredible organizational skills. She made the whole process fun, while simultaneously keeping it as simple and easy as it possibly could be, which I really appreciated. The way she laid everything out was so easy to follow- she included a layout map of my home labeled with #s for where each new item should go and provided a spread sheet with a picture of each corresponding item, the brand name, a direct link to purchase it, price, and detailed instructions (such as how high to hang something). She even worked with me to utilize some of the items I already had and just rearrange them to flow better

There were very few items from her original design board that I wanted to see alternatives on, but when I did—she clearly had nailed my style from seeing which items I didn’t like as much... as I was then completely torn between the alternative options she sent, loved them ALL!! Kim was great at also working with my budget and being mindful of that.

Lastly, due to COVID it seemed like everyone had been online shopping at the same time and unfortunately a few of my initial items had gone out of stock. When I contacted her about this, Kim was extremely responsive and very quickly (often same day), found me similar alternatives for those items and did not charge me extra for her time to do so (she even helped me find for one the exact same decoration that I loved, just from a different place).

Next, I am planning a large scale upstairs renovation project of a different capacity and if I work with a designer, I can definitely say it will certainty be Kim I call!! 5 stars for sure!! Thanks Brick and Beam Studio 🙂
