Jason is a nice guy, very responsive.
However, Brave was not very controlling of the process. The lender was constantly wanting one more thing, then one more thing, then one more thing. This should have been anticipated by the broker, consolidated and controlled.
Once we got to closing, the escrow notary did not have the payoff amounts for consolidation, or the account numbers. Or even creditor addresses. This should have all been prepared in advance. Sign and go. Instead we’re at signing doing research.
We are a full week out from closing, every payoff is the incorrect amount, 2 of the accounts have yet to be paid. I’m certain we are now being charged double interest.
When you hire a broker, you expect the process to be managed by the broker, details taken care of and anticipated.
Of course you expect a bump in the road here or there, but this transaction became a daily fire to put out.
