This is the worst property management company around here. They do not comply with landlord tenant laws. They steal money from their tenants illegally. They take advantage of people who don't understand their rights. My friend left their crappy apartment after 8 years and they claimed he owed $3,000 in damages. I understand basics of the law so I got involved and began asking for the invoices that they legally have to provide. The manager accidentally left me on an email to her superior saying she was going to tell me to "kick rocks". What they provided was a note from the maintenance man with a handful of small things written on it that were illegal to charge the tenant for, such as mini blinds (8 yrs is normal wear and tear for $10 blinds) and they were even charging him for a doorbell he never even had!! It also listed a sticker on a closet door. Again, NO invoices were provided, which is illegal. After my emails, they wound up sending him a check for over $200 (his deposit was $800) instead of charging him $3,000 even, which is a made up number which is illegal. I want all of you to know that the law states that the landlord has to return your deposit IN FULL within 21 days or they have to provide you with invoices or quotes for the work that was actually done it needed, also within 21 days. If they don't.... You can sue them. Guess what? If they are going to be keeping your deposit "in bad faith", which means being greedy and fraudulent, the judge can order them to pay you not only your deposit back, but 2 times your deposit as a punitive (punishment) measure. They do this to stop these landlords from robbing their tenants. Currently I'm living next door to a BS (lol) property and there is a smashed garage door falling down that I have to look at every day. They are SLUMLORDS and do not take care of their properties. I would never move into a BS property! At my friend's previous apartment the management would not address problem neighbors which led to a shooting on the property. They take advantage of lower income people who don't know their rights.

It’s been almost 6 years renting from Bluestar Properties and I love Chrisy, Tammy, and the receptionist. These ladies will work with you if you do your part and communicate. Be kind and respectful and everything will go smoothly for you . If something is out of the ordinary they will get on it even if it doesn’t happen on your time. They are aware, but have to be patient. Yes, rent goes up every year, but that’s what having a job is for. Nothing is free, but if you go to work or whatever you do to pay your rent legally then you should be fine. If you are late on rent communicate. Life happens to the best of us, but overall this is the best renting business owners in the high desert. I wouldn’t rent anywhere else living up here in the high desert except through Bluestar Properties. Until due of time I am happy here until I buy me a house one day. :). If you are struggling please attend the jobs fairs or go through the County of San Bernardino. Never be afraid to ask for help.

I have experienced unprofessional rude customer service on a deposit refund from a female. And because of this I asked for a upper management POC and have left several voice messages and have not received a return call on my matter. What amazes me is that the female there address with responding the customer (me) with personnel life afair issues that have zero to do with the matter of my refund. I firmly believe that training of customer service should be revisited for all staff. God Bless

They’ve been our property management company for all of one month and we are already having problems. My kitchen sink leaks, as does my dishwasher. Let the landlord know and they ignored it. Two weeks after I told the landlord about this problem, some lady from Bluestar is knocking on my door letting me know that they’re taking over as property management and to call them directly with any issues. Never got any warning about it from the landlord/owner. I called the maintenance director, Lupe, on her line and left a voicemail about my sink and dishwasher, no call back. Called the maintenance request line a week later and put in a request for my sink to be fixed. 3 weeks go by, nothing. Not a word from anyone. Called yesterday to request maintenance again and the woman I spoke to told me that on her end it said that the previous maintenance request had been completed. ABSOLUTELY FALSE. She placed another request, no one showed up yesterday, and no one is here today, and I bet no one will show up tomorrow either.

UPDATE: Maintenance manager is rude and assumed we don’t pay for water since we live in an apartment after one of their contractors used my spigot without permission. Her exact words were “you live in an apartment. You don’t pay water.” So the water bill that’s IN MY NAME means I don’t pay water, right? Still have yet to hear back from anyone regarding this and I’ve requested for them to contact me about it 3 or 4 times.

I love Blue Star Property Management. I’ve been with Blue Star for almost 7 years. I have never ever had any problems with this company. They are super kind, Very professional, organized and helpful.

I especially like one of there power sources. He is an employee by the name Randy. He has assisted me from day one. Randy has enhanced my confidence and trust exceptionally in this company.
