I began renting with Bluebird Property Management in 2021 after relocating from New York. They definitely worked with us and I’m forever grateful we were approved. When our initial lease ended, the homeowner chose to switch to a different management company—but unfortunately, they didn’t meet our expectations. I stayed in touch with Abby, calling monthly to check on availability, and was thrilled to return to Bluebird in 2023.

I always recommend Bluebird to my fellow military colleagues who are looking for property management when they PCS. Their team handles maintenance requests and any concerns quickly and professionally. We've had a great experience so far, and I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Almost two years ago, I found myself at one of the hardest crossroads of my life. After renting the same home for seven years, I was suddenly in need of a new place to live. She was so kind, so down-to-earth, and so fair that it wasn’t until later that I realized who she was. That alone spoke volumes about the kind of leadership and integrity this company stands on.

I would give no stars if possible. My mom and sister applied to a house Bluebird is managing, after looking at this house for weeks on their website my mom and sister decided to apply...the 1st time. They were denied because my sister did not meet the credit score requirements and my mom's bankruptcy completion documents need to be included. My sister did what she needed to do and was able to apply last week and included all the bankruptcy docs for my mother. The properties on the website have been there for a very, very long time... I'm pretty sure the properties are dummy props that they use to get the application fees. Before my mom and sister applied the 2nd time, I called the management office and spoke with Shanice again to confirm the credit score number and if there was ANY other requirements they needed to meet so they won't waste another $150 Shanice said there was NOTHING ELSE at this point my mother and sister spent a total of $300 on application fees. The management company called my mother yesterday to tell her they did not get the house because my mother filed for bankruptcy. The bankruptcy is completed with the necessary documentation proving my mother is in good standing and capable of applying for anything. I'm guessing it was Shanice who called my mother, when my mother asked why she didn't say something before, Shanice gave no answer to that question but told my mother she needs to be "completely out of bankruptcy". I have no idea what she meant, and I don't think she knew what she meant. There is NO information on bluebird's website regarding ANY applicant requirements. There is no information on what credit score is acceptable and no information regarding bankruptcy. I can only imagine how many people apply and get denied but yet the management company keeps the application fees not to mention they also charge another fee of $150 per person upon approval in addition to the normal deposit and month rent etc. When I asked what the $150 is for, she said it's an admin fee. When we called the office the 1st time and Shanice said the bankruptcy information was missing from the application that was a perfect time for her to say what the bankruptcy requirements are. The fact there is no information regarding applicant requirements on the website people are blindly applying not knowing if they meet requirements, imagine how much application fees they're racking up! This review isn't because they did not get the home, this is about this management company outright deceiving people. Don't be bothered with this place, I know a scam when I see it!

I had a wonderful experience with Miss Abby from day one. She always went above and beyond. Her and her staff always had a positive attitude. My only complaint is within the house that I was renting, it was very old. When I first moved in the water heater was bad and the owner sent somebody to fix it who did not know what they were doing, and it could’ve been really dangerous situation. I also had AC issues and the owner would seem to half repair things, but I think that was beyond Abby‘s control. I was sad to leave, but I just could not stay in that house but overall, if there was another home, I could’ve rented or if I needed a home rented i would choose Abby and her staff.

I see bad reviews but everyone's experience is different. Mrs. Abby and Shanice, the whole staff was everything to me! They definitely worked with me and didn't have to because business is business. Always answered any questions I had. I love you guys. Thanks for all you all did for me and my daughter. Take a chance with them. Easy to work with and great communication every step of the way regarding applying for a rental property. Abbie has been great to work with. The staff is extremely helpful. Even came right out when I accidentally locked myself out of the house. Fred took care of getting me in my home and was at the house by the time I got back. Any maintenance issues I have had have been resolved in a timely manner. Will look to continue renting from them until I am ready to purchase.

The staff is friendly, but the landlords operate under subhuman ethical standards. I did not break my lease, yet I was charged two months rent extra at the end of my stay in a roach-infested, water-damaged apartment. It is not the tenants’ job to make sure property owners make profit off the backs of people with real jobs. Laborers shouldn’t be responsible for the advertisement timeline of big men with little dignity. After suffering the mental repercussions of living with leaks in the windows and German roaches in the cabinets, Bluebird iced the cake by keeping my security deposit and sending me a bill for another $725.

My daughter left after 1yr, constantly had roach issues, ceiling left open for long period of time after water leak in addition to other items. They assumed she was going to re-sign the lease. When she informed them she wasn't and it was less than 60day notice. She was told she would forfeit security policy since she didn't provide 60 day notice. Now she gets a letter stating she owes additional money for a 60 day notification fee which has nothing to do with the security deposit. Seems like they are preying on young people with minimal resources.
