Had a 10/10 dinner experience! We ordered the mozzarella wedges, the ribeye with the twice baked potato casserole, and the bread pudding for dessert. I also had the Lovetini to drink which was delicious. Everything was cooked absolutely perfectly and came out quickly. Service was awesome.

The food was great. I had been hearing a lot about this place I had to see what all the hype was about and it lived up to the hype the steaks was very tinder. The service was great I had got in right before the dinner rush so got in and seated very quickly. I love the atmosphere in the steak house give you an old country western feel to it.

My experience was far from enjoyable. I had high hopes for a nice meal, but it quickly became clear that the quality of the food and service left much to be desired.

To start, my daughter ordered the fish, which was unfortunately dry and nearly inedible. When I brought it to the attention of my waitress, her only response was a disheartened “oh no.” There was no offer to replace the dish or even to remove it from the bill, which left me feeling disregarded as a customer.

Despite the restaurant being only about one-third full, I found myself having to ask for drink refills multiple times. It was surprising to see such slow service in an almost empty place.

As for the drinks, I ordered a Lovetini, but it was overly sweet and tasted more like sugar water mixed with frozen puree than a well-balanced cocktail. Not what I expected at all.

On a brighter note, the filet was cooked perfectly; however, it was completely lacking in flavor. It was disappointing to have such a well-prepared cut of meat that simply didn’t deliver on taste. The grilled shrimp, on the other hand, were a complete letdown. They were so overcooked that they had the texture of rubber, making them nearly impossible to enjoy.

Finally, I looked up and realized all of the vents have mold and felt nauseated at the thought of what the kitchen may look like.

Overall, my experience at was frustrating. With the combination of subpar food, inattentive service, and a lack of attention to customer satisfaction, I left feeling unsatisfied.

Everything was PERFECT! I ordered the 8 oz. Steak, with broccoli & cheese, and loaded baked potato. I can honestly say this was the best steak I ever had. I ordered my steak, well done & It was cooked just the way I liked it. The steak was tender and seasoned well.
10/10 Highly Recommend!

Second Big Mike's location I've tried, big mistake. Said I'd never go back to one in thomasville but decided to try the one in moundville. Service sucked, trigger fish was not good, catfish didn't take like catfish, and steak was flavorless. Won't return to any of these restaurants again.

Food was good, steaks done exactly how we asked. Tuna was good too. Took one star off because they were so busy, they forgot some of my food & still charged me for it. But it was all so tasty, I let it slide. Didn't want to stress our server any more than she already was! The atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect. Parking wasn't bad at all.. just be careful if it's been raining, lol. The bathroom was kinda messy(overflowing trash, broken or empty paper towel dispenser) , but I assume that's another problem with being that busy. No one had time to clean up after some of the messy guests.. all in all, we were happy & will be going back again.. just maybe not at peak dinner time ?

We absolutely love this restaurant! Hands down winner of the best fried shrimp ever! Their crab cakes, fried catfish, pasta, and of course their steaks are all amazing. The menu has something for everyone. The wait staff is also equally amazing, courteous, and professional. This restaurant is a local favorite and worth the drive to Moundville. Check it out!

We had three of their most expensive steaks and they were all below mid. They were barley juicy, bland, and not worth the prices. The fries were really good and so was their chicken. The loaded potato didn't really seem loaded. The only thing we really enjoyed was their cheese cake, the blueberry specifically.
