My name is Samuel Lee and I have bought a house through Chris Griffiths.
Chris Griffiths was originally the seller's agent, but since I did not have a buyer's agent myself, he acted as dual agent.
After the transaction was over, I was doing some improvement repair on the new house but coincidentally it rained that very day and noticed that there was a rain leaking that started from the inside of the wall and then to the floor. I immediately contacted Chris but he sounded as if there's was nothing that he could do arguing that the contingency was removed and inspection was performed. When I stated that the owner had not disclosed about this leak, they argued that they were not aware of the leak (How can they not be aware of the leak when the leak is so evident? Have they not experienced any rain themselves in the past?)

Chris said to give it a shot to the seller with an estimate report which came out to be $1,550, but he made it look like my action was a "begging" gesture rather than my "right".
Then, he came back with seller's message with "self-proclaimed courtesy" contribution of $750 only should I would sign a stipulation that I would not claim any further for any discrepancies in the future.
I felt very insulted and humiliated as if I was begging for some donation to repair my house.
The best part of this is that he later didn't even pay that $750 he has originally offered and ceased all communication with me.

I filed a law suit against him and his company arguing that although inspection was performed, rain leaking can not be detected unless rain actually occurs. I lost 2 months worth of mortgage due to this delay.
