Richelle was very very helpful & consistent with being there for me every step of the process it took for me to rent the property I was interested in! She was thorough with emailing, messaging & calling me to be sure that I understood each step of the way.. she even helped me to finish up on her evening off! If renting from Beaufort rentals.. None of their rentals have washers and dryers which is very funny. I also don’t think they have great critical thinking skills. I am in sales and make commission pay. Understandably they had an issue with that not being consistent proof of income so I offered to pay for the full 12 month lease upfront. They said they still needed proof of salary even if I paid fully upfront. I tried explaining to them the reason people ask for proof of income is to make sure the lease gets paid but that’s not a problem if I just pay the entire lease upfront 😂

Who would have thought that a little local rental outfit would have outsourced their call center? Well because of that, they have people to answer questions about the rental application at convenient hours for future residents. Richelle ensured that the application was submitted with no issues, and by the time I showed up at the local leasing office to pay the security deposit, there was no stressful back and forth that would have delayed my move-in. This would have inevitably happened without her because the company’s web portal interface leaves much to be desired. Her stand in, Denn also did a decent job of filling in for her and moving the process along over the weekend. I viewed the property on a Tuesday and was able to move in within 7 days.

Absolutely the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered. I did not even sign a lease with this company. I signed a lease with a different rental company (who were amazing) but sild their business and Beaufort rentals bought it. We made on time payments for 19 months with ZERO issues! We fell on tough times with our son getting in a motorcycle accident and then I was laid off in December. We still paid December and January rent and I had a new job starting 2/17, so we called them and explained our situation told them that we will be late but it will be paid by the 20th and we would also pay the late fees associated. They did not care, would not give us any assistance and just threatened to evict us.... after 19months of on time payments and immaculately keeping the home. What a horrible way to handle clients. Then, they charged me fees that do not match our lease! They also told us we were no longer able to pay by check and had to either use a credit card (which comes with a $165 "convenience fee") or pay at Walmart. No, just no I told them. No where in my lease does it say this. In addition after we paid ALL rent, there is a $370 "late fee" on our account and they told us if we do not pay in 5 days they are going to start eviction AGAIN! Even though they OVERCHARGED me $125 in fees! Insane, horrible company. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM or DO NOT LET THEM MANAGE YOUR PROERTY! I can't imagine the homeowner knows how they are treating us...

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! Any good review you see in here is bough and paid for. Most of the people you encounter is on the phone and they are from the Philippines or some foreign country. Their pre inspection lists over 100 things wrong with their property and upon move out they try to charge you for those SAME ITEMS! Couldn’t wait for the lease o end and it’s still an ongoing nightmare of them trying to charge you for ANY AND EVERYTHING!!! Please look at all the negative review from REAL AMERICAN residents this place is all over Beaufort Ruining Lives!!!!!!!! You have been warned! All the negative reviewers are not lying!

They dont care about the tenants, no matter how much they say they take care of the properties and tenants they dont. Maintenance is a hassle to get done and when it does get does its not done right and they dont clean up after themselves. It takes them over 2 days to replace a fridge that stopped working and dont even offer a temporary solution just that "were waiting for an email to be read by the owner" and they dont offer compensation for the groceries we had to throw away because theyre not responsible even though they didnt handle the situation in a timely manner. But they want their rent on time every month, they try to cover up black MOLD and say that its black dirt, and try to charge for damages that were present when they bought the unit but every inspections its the same things that get marked. They raise the rent every year but dont do a thing to make the space worth that increase in rent. They have not been a good company to work with from the start.
