Fabulous! Josh, Angus & Melissa were absolutely delightful! They were super eager to please, friendly. When they didn’t know an answer to our many questions, they got back to us quickly. The renting/ leasing process was as painless as possible. Overall, we are very excited about living here under exceptional management!

If zero stars were an option, I would be able to rate this place more accurately. This place used to be a smoke free paradise, until about a year ago, when we received new management. Since the new property manager has taken over this place, the residence is practically never maintained. Joyce is rarely ever in her office, even during the small amount of hours she is scheduled per week. When she is in her office, she doesn't answer my calls, unless I am using a number not associated with our account. The parking lots are a death trap, especially for those that are disabled, or are smokers. I've only recently been able to file a complaint with her superiors, since she refused to give me his contact information for over a year. I had to get it elsewhere, even though that is illegal and as a tenant, I have legal right to that information. He hasn't been answering his phone either, nor have any of the corporate office numbers gotten me through to an actual person in order to file a complaint. This property manager does not follow the laws on the Kenai Peninsula in accordance with the Landlord/Tenant Act, and she has no problem issuing an illegal 10-day eviction notice. Not only has she violated the Landlord/Tenant Act, but she has also issued this notice in violation of Weidner's own lease policies regarding eviction. She has also illegally initialed the attached addendum with the previous property manager's initials, which is fraudulent on a legal document. She has also spelled crucial information incorrectly on a legal document, which also renders it null and void. As well as stated on the reverse side of the notice that it also serves as 24 hour prior notice of entry. That statement goes against the Landlord/Tenant Act, as she is required by law to give a minimum of 48 hours prior notice of entry. All this on a 10-day notice over a complaint that she filed, after continually falsely accusing us of violating the terms of our lease. In violation of Weidner Community Policy, which states that in order to issue any notice of eviction for smoking in the buildings, in accordance with the Landlord/Tenant Act, you must have a witness willing to provide written testimony stating that they have witnessed the tenants violating the smoking policy of the lease within the last 30 days. Especially since our last month on this lease is March, and we're all paid up, so if she somehow succeds in this illegal eviction, she'll have a whole month already paid on this unit, and we'll be homeless while she makes a profit. So now I am posting this on a Google review, so that hopefully someone in this company will actually contact me to take care of this. I am also posting this as a warning for those looking for place that doesn't engage in illegal practices. If this is the type of conduct that you would like to regularly deal with on an overpriced, ill kempt, horribly maintained property, that raises their rent prices with every lease renewal and constantly changes their policies to make your life increasingly difficult, then this is place for you. But if you'd like a place with a property manager who actually cares about their tenants and doesn't attempt illegal practices on eviction notices, might I suggest Aurora Vista apartments? That's where our previous property manager went, so you know that place is probably the paradise now. Besides, you don't want to live in a place ran by a company that has a lease policy stating that if you use profanity towards the property manager, it's grounds for immediate eviction. Not only is that immensely impractical, but also illegal! Hope this helps the over 1,000 google users who previously read my 5 star review.

The parking rules are not enfirced by Mara. Apt 16 has been illiegally parking and vehicle abanded 2 months and it still sits ilkegally blocking emergency services to the community.
