I was pretty far along in the mortgage process with a different financial institution, but I realized I was confused about my options (I was a first time home buyer with a unique/ semi complex purchasing scenario). Austin reached out incredibly quickly after my bigger pockets inquiry, and was unbelievably responsive (even working quite late to get me quick answers), thorough (researching with his credit officers and even calling Freddie Mac and Fanny Mae directly to get accurate answers on my specific and very unique situation) and incredibly patient. Ultimately, he provided me with the information I needed to make the best decision about my mortgage. I decided to stick with my initial financial institution (on a different mortgage type, thanks to the info Austin helped me uncover), mainly to appease my real estate agent who had referred me to the original place, and given how far along I was in the process with a quickly approaching home closing. Austin was so professional and understanding about this, even though he had put in a ton of hard work to get me some disclosure papers ready timely. He never pressured me, even after I didn’t move forward, and for me, that was very refreshing!! If I need to refinance or buy another home any time soon, he’s sure to be the first person I’ll call.
