This company has the worst rental experience I've had in my entire life. I rented a property for 3 years. Every year there was a substantial increase in rent. I do not like how this company says one thing in person and then changes their mind behind your back. For example when we moved in the unit the previous tenant had left a microwave. We asked about it and we're told it wasn't part of the rental so we could do whatever we wanted. We replace the microwave with a much better one that we personally bought. When we moved out the company tried to charge us $100 for the microwave.

During our lease the company would inspect the unit. They would come through and say how disgusting our house was and they made my wife feel horrible. We would however get contract cleaners as they asked to correct the amount violations and turn in the receipts to prove the work had been done. When we finally were able to move from the unit, We cleaned and turned into receipts. However the company stated after their inspection they needed their own people to do it. Unsurprisingly (and a little suspiciously) their own people coming in to clean the apartment billed the entire security and a partial month rent return. After all there cleaning and maintenance bills we got back $25.

Finally I went to mention as we were moving out and looking for a new place, they filled out the rental reforms in such a way that cost us to get denied from several places. This is after I paid rent on time every month and had done everything that they asked to that point.

Renting from this company has been an absolute disaster. I wish we had never had to do business with them. I would absolutely strongly recommend you looking over any other option then signing a lease with them because of the difficulties you will have. ASCEND IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!! I have rented from many properties and Ascend is my Absolute Favorite and by far ONE OF A KIND!!! I am so grateful I came across them. From my initial contact with them... to their Beautiful properties... to Signing my lease agreement... to having Some very unfortunate situations happen... my experience has been way Above and Beyond my expectations!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🤗🤗🤗 Angel in the office is AMAZING and truly cares about her tenants that she has proved over and over!!! I wouldn't want to rent from anyone else ever!! I would recommend them 1000 times over...I can't Thank them enough!!! ❤️

I couldn't be more pleased with my representation by Ascend Property Management. Angel is the consummate professional, extremely competent, organized and very accessible. I have 2 Myrtle Beach condo rentals and she has handled both very efficiently. I had a long term tenant (not sourced by Angel) take off in the middle of the night leaving my unit in shambles. They left furniture, clothing, trash everywhere and considerable damage. Angel arranged for everything relating to the clean up and refurbishment. She had the condo ready to rent within 2 weeks. I missed only one month's rent and she had a new tenant the following month. She has been in constant communication with me regarding the weather emergency from Huarricane Florence and I feel very well represented. I am 12 hours away from Myrtle Beach and she has given me peace of mind. I couldn't be more pleased with my representation.

Good ! love pool, love the place. It’s quiet, lovely harbor views, peaceful. Perfectly nestled IN GREAT TOWN. I don’t tell people so it’s our secret -heaven on earth. Big love.

Terrible property management. Makes false receipts instead of providing REAL receipts. Terrible mold problem in the apartments on holly Street these people do not care about your best interest or well being all they care about is money. Shame on y'all for the energy y'all have put out will come back on you. Ascend don't bother replying back to my review nobody cares for your gaslighting or denial don't rent from here your better off getting a more expensive apartment your health is more important than cheap rent from slumlords

These people will have elderly sitting in the street smug after proof of payment was made!!!! Just would ever and the lot rent has done nothing but double
Update: They were helpful in finding a solution was a ugly situation and we came together and they guided me we all didn’t realize my beautiful auntie had dementia! Now she’s passed and they have been great! Specially during this hard time! Thanks ladies lol I fixed it!!
