I've spent countless hours at this park walking the trail with my dogs and attending events with my friends and family. It's such a beautiful place to get some fresh air! There is a huge dog park, a 3/4 mile walking loop, nice clean restrooms, and easy parking. There are also lots of birds to see and a great view of the surrounding hills.

25 Years in the Making—Still Worth Bragging About!

This park didn’t just happen—it took 25+ years of meetings, fundraising, and sheer determination to get here. And now, after a few years of being open, it’s still the best thing to happen to our town since drive-thru coffee.

1. ¾-mile walking loop – great for exercise, dog-walking, and catching up on local gossip.

2. Huge dog park – separate spaces for big and small pups, and (miracle of miracles) poop bags are always stocked!

3. Disc golf & a pristine grass field – for sports, games, or just looking athletic.

4. Picnic pavilion – perfect for events, BBQs, or claiming “accidentally” when it’s actually reserved.

5. Super clean restrooms – because nobody likes a questionable park bathroom.

With beautiful views, friendly faces, and a true community spirit, this place is proof that some things are worth the wait.

Love, love, love! I've spent years attending this park for nice walks/runs, dog walking, meeting up with friends and family, playing with my kids on the open field, and all the fun community events that are held here. You can't beat the beautiful scenery! I am so thankful that we have this beautiful park in our community.

Whether you need a space for your dogs to play (off leash areas for both big and small dogs), need to get your steps in on the .6 mile loop path, want to host a gathering at the pavilion, or are ready to expend soccer or disc golf energy, this park is perfect for you. All volunteer run makes it even more special.

Great community open space ! decent size loop trail for walking laps for light exercise or leash dog walking:) dog poo bags are well stocked and community people are courteous enough to actually use them!!! Smiling faces and everyone is country small town polite and happy to be there ! Disc golf baskets, well maintained grass field for play, and nice dog park areas with separate fenced little dog area.

I love the walking path and chatting with the locals. I don't have a dog, but I get my dog fix when I walk. They're doing a lot of work, planting trees and bushes.
