You can turn in your Vermillion Jr. Ranger Books here for the badge. Also, you can get your National Parks Passport stamped here. Office is open Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Really friendly staff. Little display area showing fossils, tree dating, pottery, and other artifacts. Also, you can get 7.5 topo maps and other information for adventures in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.

These folks are literally amazing government employees. I emailed requesting a sand cove camping permit and received an email back with some information that potentially prevented us from having a really bad time, getting stuck or worse. When I called the office to get more info, I got a call back (which further impressed me) and then Jodi took the time to gather pamphlets and maps, put them in an envelope and mail it to me. She even made notes on them regarding the activities we were trying to find information on. I also spoke to several other people in this office and I am super impressed. They have knowledgeable and experienced staff. It's not often that you find employees in this sector that are so motivated and friendly. Working with the public on a daily basis can really wear you down but this office is really doing a great job. A+ I hope your supervisor recognizes your service!

After having a terrible experience at the BLM Visitors Center in Kanab, Utah, I felt compelled to writing a glowing report on the Arizona Strip BLM office in Saint George, Utah. This place is awesome and they will bend over backwards to make sure you leave their facility informed about where you are going, educate you on safety concerns and fill you with excitement about the wonderful places you are about to see.

When we walked in the door we were met by a delightful woman who inquired where we wanted to go. We told her the Grand Canyon and she said, “I need to get my coworker who is an expert on the Grand Canyon, he will give you much better advice than I can”. She promptly reaturned with an elder gentleman in his eighties who had spent his lifetime work in areas throughout the Colorado drainages, and what a treat it was. After about ten minutes of conversation, he had convinced us to go to the Toroweap View Point, and to also stop and see the petroglyphs on the way. We had both outstanding scenery and outstanding BLM people to help us find our way.

Please note that there are no bad or even average reviews for this office. They’re all five stars! They have earned them too! Great job everyone in the St. George center! Thank you so much for helping us enjoy our public lands responsibly.

I dropped in here two years ago and they were EXTREMELY helpful. Helped us plan a trip to Whitlock point and get backcountry permits for the Grand Canyon. They have a very nice selection of outdoor books and a really great selection of maps.

Although I wasn't actually at this BLM office, I did have a superlative experience with one of their employees. Ranger Curtis Racker went way beyond the call of duty to venture out onto back-country roads on a cold & wet Sunday night over Memorial Day weekend to render assistance to my stranded camper which suffered 2 flat tires. We're able to accomplish some makeshift repairs which were good enough to get us back to civilization. Ranger Racker worked well beyond his normal shift to make sure we got safely out. I'm glad that my tax dollars are used to employ such quality professionals.

beware: you cannot go into the building. They only serve via phone or email. In my opinion, there should be an indication of this before you drive all the way here. Further, If they are only serving via phone or email, why not just give the building to someone who would actually use it for something productive? At this point, just about everything else is open....anything still closed at this point is closed due to laziness.
