I leased a home from APM for 7 years (just moved out this past month) and I had the most pleasant experience with them! The girls in the office felt like friends and they were wonderful to work with if a need came up. I treated the home like it was mine and took very good care of it - so no issues with the move-out process or the security deposit.

Lastly, I have read terrible reviews about security deposits. I understand that everyone has different views on what this deposit is actually used for. Most deposits are never returned due to the cost it takes to prepare the home for the next tenant. Wear and tear on a home is not cheap, and EVERY home that is lived in will have wear and tear . Leaving a home clean after you leave isn't a guarantee that you will get your deposit back . HOWEVER it is a guarantee of your character . Respect goes a long way these days.

Overall, I highly recommend APM to anyone looking for a reliable and caring property management team. My four years with them have been a fantastic experience, and I’m grateful for their dedication to making my rental feel like home!

Do not use this teal estate company. I bought a home they was selling and they never give me my warranty on my roof, HVAC. The realtor Bill Boatwright done nothing as promised and when i call and ask anout my warranty he curses me out.

First off . We rented from them for a year . Had no intentions of having to leave and planned to renew our lease . 45 days before the lease ended they informed us that we had to vacate the premises . Did not give us an opportunity to stay/ resign a lease . Claimed “owners took property back” in reality they just got tired of us “complaining “ about things we shouldn’t have even had to complain about if they kept the property up as they were to do so. They don’t care about people. They’re money hungry. They’ll steal your entire deposit and pocket it for their families while they care less what you and your family goes through. Do not believe the ugly fake smiles . They’re not trustable people. If I could post the reason my entire 1300.00 was taken…. You wouldn’t believe it . The way they do people? They’ll have a lawsuit soon and they’ll go bankrupt and be out of business . Do not trust them. Save yourself . Chasity bates and everyone else pockets your deposit and they have no intentions to give you your deposit back. Not to mention, we paid our rent on time FAITHFULLY when they were unfaithful with fixing things. They’re money hungry.

I paid my rent on time every month earlier, or right on the due date, and I also turned in not just a 30 day notice. I turned in a 60 day notice that I was moving out at the end of December before my lease was due again. Not counting I had to give a $1,000.00 deposit, and of course the 1st month's rent to move in. I also left the apartment clean, turned off the water to the hot water heater, sinks, and all to make sure their would be no water damage due to the power, and water being turned off. So I did all I was asked to moving out besides paying a professional to shampoo the carpets, replacing the blinds upstairs due to they was already damaged, and torn apart when I moved in. They made it clear to me I moved in as is. So I did due to circumstances I had to have a place asap, but I left it cleaner than when I moved in it, and I didn't replace the blinds. I get a letter after move out. They keep all of my $1,000.00 deposit for January 2024 rent when I moved on December 31st, 2024 telling me I moved out before my lease was up so they kept that $750. Didn't explain why they kept the other $250. It's all good though, God don't like ugly... Just goes to show how greedy people are today when some actually do right by leaving a place clean. Even wiped down all the walls, and than some. Lesson learned to never apply or rent from this company again. They'll find a reason to keep your money from your deposit...

They are thieves . They steal your entire deposit . They have no plans in giving you your deposit back. Don’t waste your time cleaning. Let them do it . They’re going to cheat you out of your deposit anyways . Do not trust Chasity Bates . She’s pocketing the money and finding ways for no one to ever get their deposit back. They don’t care to fix things on time but expect rent. As I said before IF YOU RENT FROM HERE PLEASE KNOW WHEN YOU GIVE THEM THAT DEPOSIT ? It’s pocketed and you’ll never see it again no matter how well you upkeep the home.

In the 5 years we lived in the house, we had to get a hotel room 4 times due to the plumbing and septic issues. Each time we notified them at the onset of the problem, but we would eventually have to notify the actual owner of the house before anyone would get called out there. The owner told us he was selling the house and ending his contract. So we found a place, gave them ample notice, and even told them they could keep our deposit. It wasn’t a month after we moved out the house was up for sell. There is no judgment stating we owe them any money. Yet now I have a $3600 collection from them on my credit?!? They tried to say we owed them because they had to replace the carpet, and who knows what else they packed on. We had the carpet professionally cleaned at least twice a year, and it’s funny every inspection we had, the inspector bragged about how nice and clean we kept the house. Plus the carpet has been in there since the 1970’s when the previous owner had the house built. Anderson Property Management is run by crooks and thieves. Do not rent from them. Now I’m off to dispute a bogus collection and possibly contact the better business bureau.

Just wanted to shout out the employees at Anderson Property Management our family has been renting through them for over a year. If we have any issues or something that needs too be taking care of they make sure to get someone out quickly and effectively, and they always make sure to reach back out and follow up. I will recommend anyone in the future to Anderson Property Management.
