This place saved me! Needed 2 generators last minute for a community event and I was able to get both for such a great price! They even topped the gas off for me. Definitely will be using again

Prices are great but be sure to check (and be a bit knowledgeable on) what you are renting. I have only rented scaffolding there a couple times but the yard is a but messy and there are mix matched parts to scaffolding so be sure your cross bars match your walk boards. Had to make a special trip to make an exchange on a very tight schedule. They will try to load stuff for you but you will cut your time in half if not better if you are able to help. For me time is of the essence when renting equipment. I maximize my time to get the job done so the added hour for this last rental to exchange parts was a bit frustrating. Next time I will know better to check the measurements.

My father rented a double axle hauling trailer for my truck half way to our destination one of the tires just blew out on the freeway. We had to get a tow truck for the rest of the way. He called the lady at the front desk and she said he would not have to pay for the tire when we arrived to return it he was told that is was his fault the tire blew out and it would be $70 extra. My dad refused to pay he even checked the other tires that were rated for 80psi (which the guy said was for max load so they only filled to 65psi) all had different pressures under 55psi each one had 45psi. So finally he agreed not to charge the extra $70 if my dad never came back. Trust me we will not. This is not including their bad attitudes and just bad customer service in general.

Worst customer service ever. I reserved a skid steer at 8 o'clock this morning for 2 o'clock this afternoon Mind you that's the time they give me. They said I could keep it the rest of Saturday all day Sunday. And bring it back Monday morning. I got there at 1:45 To find out they've already rented it. I spoke with the owner at 8 o'clock am He said he would have it ready and took my name I've been doing business 30+ years at alternative . I cannot believe no I'm sorry Can I do something else. I have a job schedule where I run a business Never again.

My husband's friend ordered a mini excavator it blew a hose slung oil everywhere!! Couldn't use the machine then they wanted us to take the hose off and repair it!! We couldn't finish our work had to take the equipment back and they charged us extra saying we broke the machine!! He has been running equipment for over 25 years we didn't break the machine they should've sent a repairman so we could finish using the machine we paid for!!

Very helpful and friendly mom and pop shop. Rented a 24 foot flat bed from alternative and was very happy with the experience.
