I didn't intend to write this review until I saw her response to Slowgene's review. I already put this matter behind me and moved on long time ago. She opened the old wound. Therefore I might as well shed some more light to this matter.
This woman (Terry) loves to make money by ordering bogus repairs and unnecessary replacement. Against our will, she hired this unlicensed contractor again (her buddy, was banned from doing business with us by Slowgene), charged us the price of a brand new heater but replaced our (10 years) old heater with a savages one from junkyard with no parts and labor warranty at all. She even gave the tenant $150 (hush money) to keep him silent. Slowgene's attempts to understand the situation with repeated phone calls to the tenant before the heater replacement went unanswered.
She eventually forced her way through and replaced the heater. She was cited by Nevada Contractor Board for hiring an unlicensed contractor. She pleaded not guilty & had the citation dismissed in Court.
It was no surprise to me that the subsequent SC lawsuit initiated by Slowgene was thrown out of Court & Slowgene was slammed with a restraining order. Slowgene never threatened or harassed her. All he did was trying to coerce her out of hiding & resolve the issue. But she "went on vacation" for weeks & refused to respond.
The judge alleged that Slowgene was not the legitimate party to file the lawsuit because "Slowgene added his name & signature on the property management agreement after I & Terry had signed the document". What I was appalled. This is by far the most farcical, trumped-up charge I have ever heard from the Judge in a Court. Any person with common knowledge & a working mind knows that it is impossible to edit and/or alter a PDF style document. Did Judge ever check the original document with three parties' (I, Slowgene, Terry) names & signatures before making this baseless assertion?
This lawsuit was supposed to be a slam dunk, but we ended up losing the case. It's really a waste of time and resource when you face gangsters and a biased Justice System. No wonder people would take the justice into their own hands. Can you blame them?

Do not use this realtor to manage your property. She robs you like modern day Jesse James, Black Bart. She loves to have her buddy (an unlicensed contractor) and another 78 years old handyman to do some arbitrary, unauthorized, unnecessary, repair, replacement work. And she will deduct the extraordinary, excessive repair bill from your rent check whether you like or not.

We hired this woman to manage our property located behind Lakeside Inn Casino on Kahle Dr. when we moved to Reno on May 2010. She sent this furnace repair guy from Do-Rite Inc. to scout the furnace under the guise of doing some minor plumbing work without asking our consent first and billed us $120+ later. We knew that their real intention is to looking for work on the furnace and make some huge profit. We didn't like it and told Terry(the realtor) to 86ed this Do-Rite Inc.. That furnace was newly installed on year 2004 right before we purchased the property. It was under both manufacture's parts and contractor's labor 10 year warranty. We didn't have to pay $120+ for her pal's unauthorized check up and adjustment work but we paid anyway; it's little money, not worth to argue about. Later she called me about refrigerator blow hot air, need to be fixed. I knew immediately that the cooler's door was left ajar because I have had same experience before. As long as the door was shut completely, everything become OK within 20 minute. The repair bill? A whopping $129; $59 for the service call and $70 for the repair. I knew instantly that both this woman and the handyman are dishonest crooks.

She called us on 1-31-2014 early morning about the broken furnace. We knew that this 10 years old furnace might need minor tuneup or replacement of some wore part. We gave her permission to get somebody to check the unit and report back to us. We wait anxiously and patiently; we called her office and cell, left message many times. but she just went totally unresponsive. We finally got hold of her before closing time.(5PM) She told us that she already gave the contractor a check of $1200 to buy the part; and repair work can be done within hours once the part arrive next day. We were in shock and disbelief that she dare to act arbitrarily on such an expensive repair job without our consent. What kind of furnace part would cost $1200? She finally admitted that she was going to replace the entire furnace. We smelled something fishy. A furnace should lasts 20 or even 30 years, not just 10 year. Why was she so eager and hastily to replace the furnace? We disagree with her decision and told her that we needed second opinion. To make a long story short, she eventually had furnace replaced at $2,825.00. She did everything behind the closed door and she tried to keep us in dark forever. She didn't give us any documentation, pamphlet, user's manual, warranty information, invoice or receipt after the completion of the furnace replacement until we asked repeatedly weeks later.

She initially told us that Sierra Air is the contractor doing the replacement work and there are good part and labor warranty. It turned out that she gave the job to Do-Rite, the one I told her to 86ed long time ago. There is no written labor warranty at all.

After two month without rent income, we had another surprise on April. There was an unauthorized $188.19 washer repair bill deduction from the rent check. What being replaced is a small plastic part of the latch-detach(safety device) mechanism of the washer. It is commonly used on many brand of washer & can be purchased at any appliance store for about $20-$30 bucks. A brand new Roper washer costs only $299.70, I didn't see any reason for the replacement of a piece of plastic costs $188.19. Even the tenant was stunned by this extraordinary repair bill. He joked that he would take this job for the easy, big bucks!

We didn't like all those incidents and already file complaint with Nevada Attorney General's office. We want this realtor 's license be revoked so that she can not deceive, victimize, scam and rip off other people again.
