Extremely unprofessional and unethical practices. Submitted an application according to their instructions, was told by Sandy via phone I did not need to pay at that time to be considered and could wait to view the property later TODAY, and that I would be the first applicant. Let them know I had a roommate - was never told they had to submit a separate document (which I should've known, but still was never told). Submitted an app at 11am and NEVER heard back - until I was told at 3pm my showing was cancelled due to another application being submitted (at 2pm, THREE hours after I sent mine) and processed. Spoke with Sandy again, who was very inconsiderate and rude, and was blamed for not paying the fee or providing a second app for my roommate. This should have been explained 1. in the initial call AND/OR 2. at the time I submitted a "partial" application. Then, I would've happily completed those steps. It seems like this company does not follow Fair Housing laws (for other reasons I will not state here). I would be wary of giving them any of your business.

My spouse and I just completed the application process with Albany Property Management, and were approved to move in to one of their houses. This process has been so efficient, positive, and quick! We viewed our home, applied, and within 4 business days had our answer and move-in date. Moving from a management company that we really enjoyed working with for several years, it was super important to us to find the same when searching for our new home, we are very happy to feel like we have found that with Albany Property Management.

They are VERY rude. Mostly the dude. They “had” to come “inspect” our current house before renting to us. We have service dogs and they were FULLY aware. When he did said “walk through” he didn’t inspect ANYTHING. He stood in the living complained about the smell of dog (we had deep cleaned for a total of 4 days prior) then looked into the backyard and liked it. Then he left. We were told we’d be notified the very next day. Which didn’t happen due to them having “an emergency” then still didn’t mention anything until someone went INTO their office. Then had the BALLS to stand there and belittle people saying & I quote “you knew we were coming yes. And how long did you know beforehand? And you still DIDNT clean.” You don’t talk to an adult like they are a 2 year old. They are VERY disrespectful and afterward everyone we’ve asked about that so called “inspection” says that’s not right and they shouldn’t even have came to the current residence. Real freakin sketchy. 100% would NOT recommend even to someone I absolutely hated. Complete crap they should be sued.

I've been a tenant of Albany Property Management for almost 5 years now, and my experience with them has been very enjoyable and hassle free. They have always been quick with maintenance. Just this morning my garage door opener's spring snapped, and my wife's car was trapped in the garage. I called APM at 7:30AM, and by 8:30AM I had a guy in my garage with parts on hand to get the Job done. This process is blowing me away with how quick and effortless it has been.

Terry and Sandy and their team are the best I've ever dealt with in my life. I moved here 7 years ago from California knowing no one, going through cancer treatment, and they got me into a place right away and have been so good to my son and I. I don't event want to move because I don't think I'll ever find people as great as they are. Truly a blessing!

My wife and I spent the first seven months of our marriage here. You get what you pay for. It was a good price for two bedrooms for a new couple. The downside was I had to leave my dog with my mom, but our neighbors were good. I honestly can’t complain.

Rented my first apartment from them all in all it was a bad experience I would not recommend renting from them at all. They had nice demeanors and spoke professionally but beyond that the apartment quality was poor the floors were rotting out in entry way they were infested with bugs paid little to no attention to when we brought this issues to attention. Went through a short period of job loss, not even a full month long rent was going to be late as my payday wasn't for 2 weeks until after rent was due kept them updated on the situation and when payday was then gave us 72 hr notice a 4 days before payday saying that we had too much foot traffic when the only people that were frequently coming over were his own tenants ( our neighbors) that we were starting to get to know and becoming friends with. That was about 7 years ago and I've rented many places since then and not a single one has been as horrendous an experience as renting from this company was

Albany property management has had my fiances home in thier "care" for over few years. We recently found out the tenants are moving out. We asked for a walk thru and had one within a week. We noticed walls installed from tenants without permission and damage everywhere. Nothing like it was when they first took over the "property management" . When asked about the last time Terry had done a walk thru he said he had NEVER done a walk through for all of the years he had it because they were so overworked. Now confronted , we get a letter from them saying they are firing us. Lol. Next calls will be to the BBB , NARPM and other various governing businesses that hold these type of crooks accountable. All they do it take rent, thats it. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS, YOUR INVESTMENT IS NOT SAFE
