I informed the realty that I would like to look at a rental after lunch. At no time did they inform me that they have lunch from 1-2 PM. If you are not going to be available for service, you should inform your customers as a matter of courtesy, so they do not waste their time. In order to look at a rental you have to text your license and a selfie photo at the rental. I did as asked but waited over 15 minutes without a key code to take a look at a rental. As a mixed-race person, I didn't get a good impression when I received no service at all. Finally, I was forced to call and asked if the house was still available and was told Yes. Strange, why wasn't I given a key code? At no time during any conversation with the realty was I offered any key code because they asked if I was still at the rental when I had already driven away. When I told them I wasn't at the rental they replied, "oh." To which I replied, "ok thank you," and hung up. If they are out to lunch from 1-2PM then why wasn't I informed of this fact? If a company can't send a simple text for a key code or help avoid wasting your time, then imagine what the rest of their service is like. I decided not to rent due to these bad impressions, lack of courtesy, and lack of service. I recommend any potential customers avoid this agency since they seem incapable of the simplest tasks.

Absolutely love Mr. and Mrs. Simmons. They are fantastic landlords. Simple to make maintenance requests and they respond incredibly fast. Monthly pest control and routine lawncare. I am extremely happy to have the Simmons as my landlord. On top of that they are an incredibly sweet couple.

This has been one of the most complex, exhausting application processes I've ever experienced. I would never go through this company again!
They require an end date for a job that does not have one and cannot submit the app without it, so I made up an end date, just for her to say "I can't submit because I won't have a job after a certain date" I explained I only added that date because it REQUIRED one. Also provided an offer letter for a job as a Teacher in DC school system that overlapped the job I am speaking of and just didn't get a response. If you're looking for fair rental experience avoid this company at all costs.

It's who you know, not what you know. They seem rent to people they know, instead of qualified applicants.

Should've known it was a red flag 🚩when I pulled up in my car and had to sit for 45 minutes - 1 hour before they even responded to give me a code to even view the property.

Absolutely the best people to rent or buy from! I rented a house from them for a year and were wonderful from the day I applied for the house to my move out date. They were so fast to repair anything that was needed. They truly are two amazing human beings. I would highly recommend A+G Simmons Realty to anyone who is looking for an outstanding srvice! My husband has been renting a house from Simmons Realty for 3 years. Great 3 years with no headache!!! If there was a problem, it was taken care right away! They made sure the tenants had comfortable living conditions. We have been renting before, several times, and none was as smooth as this one.
