This is my honest review. FIRSTLY, Upon arriving to the unit to view it, they tried to have me come another day to view the unit because they couldn’t get someone to come and I was already there. I paid for a ride to go there so I wasn’t going back due to their inconvenience. They eventually had someone come. They sent this same bald white guy who always came and said he was always called last minute to do repairs for them and that he actually didn’t work for them. I viewed the place with the idea that it would be cleaned and fixed upon me moving in the unit. Especially since I moved in a few weeks AFTER viewing the unit and they had it inspected. I also thought that the basic things like the dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc. would work fine.THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. Once I moved in I was 8 months pregnant. There was no cold water in the bathroom upon move in, when you turned the knobs (which were broken) no cold water came out, the place was dirty, walls, and doors had writing on them, the laundry area was so dirty and dusty and even had old socks and dirt and grime from previous tenants, the bathroom was dirty, they didn’t even provide a CLEAN toilet seat. I told them that the home was not clean and that me and my family could’ve waited to move in I was told it was clean when it was clearly disgusting. I’m 8 months pregnant deep cleaning the place myself to get it suitable for my newborn because at this point I knew it was a red flag and I was being lied to. Anywho, upon moving in, The toilet leaked toilet water everytime it flushed. Washing machine was completely broken, the dryer always leaked water inside of it, dishwasher leaked and was broken, underneath the kitchen sink there was tons of swelling of the wood like there was previous leaks, stove was dirty, vents were dusty, blinds had a sticky residue and dust on them, there was a bug nest in the INSIDE of the window when we moved in, they put rug on top of old tile in one of the bedroom closets, there were tons of water bugs/palmetto bugs coming from under the kitchen stove the first two months in the apartment until I sprayed the apartment myself. There was water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom that they weren’t even decent enough to paint over and make presentable. Baseboards were dirty, and tiles in front doorway, kitchen and bathroom were dirty and not cleaned. Stove hood FILTHY. Dishwasher had tons of broken glass and egg shells and stuff from prior tenants underneath it when it was taken out for repair. I was constantly having to stay home for them to repair something atleast each month we were there even when I came home from the hospital with my baby. Electric wiring is faulty in the apartment. I asked for them to paint parts of the home that were written on or were smudged from previous tenants they didn’t do it . The tub faucet had black water coming out of it and the pipe was completely corroded. I mentioned it upon moving in. it didn’t get fixed until it was mentioned again my 10th month staying there. As far as things needing new paint, They just told me to write it on the move in list but why would I have to write down something that should BE DONE ALREADY. Even the ceiling light fixtures were dirty and grimy and they expect you to change the lightbulbs (which was taken out of my deposit). I got my most of my deposit taken (Majority for cleaning) because I refused to pay for professional cleaning. Now if it was cleaned and painted for me and my family prior, I would’ve had no issues because it would show that there was care and consideration in place before renting especially when my family and I left very minimal damage and they never sent anyone to clean even when I was there. EDIT: U cant blame C.H.A inspectors on why U allowed people to move in YOUR UNKEPT UNIT. It’s YOUR unit and YOUR responsibility. This unit was not cared for under any human standards not just mine, especially not for a newborn baby and 2 other children. So that apology holds no weight. The Photos below don’t lie. SMH.

Pleasant workers, app friendly to pay rent, get things fixed, submit end of tenancy etc. My only complaint is that they take a while to get back to you about servicing the place, understandable as they have tons of properties they manage, just keep calling or texting. Overall, not a bad company, at least they do fix things-unlike other property rental companies I’ve seen.

The absolute worst leasing agency ever. I applied almost two months ago, provided all they needed. They don’t even respond to emails until you have to call and bug them multiple times. Right before they rejected my application, they did not respond to my + 5 emails asking about the status of my application. They suddenly respond with ā€˜Denied’ due to having no rental history while I have a 6 figure salary, provided paystubs and VOE. Very unprofessional and very rude. Please don’t waste your time or energy with this leasing agency. If they don’t treat you right at the beginning, they sure won’t if you lease from them.

Since the company didn’t allow me to respond to their response to my post, I am creating a new review from my son’s account. This company is all headaches and the worst, I am actually glad that they denied my application because I wouldn’t want to deal with this in the long run. (Attached is a screenshot of my original post).

Now, to respond to their response. Very dishonest from them because their website said $0 if you qualify and I even showed them a screenshot of it. Now they say, they were never had the $0 if you qualify policy. They said they moved on from my application after a week of me not responding, that’s true I didn’t respond for days but they dis not move on from my application because when I did respond with all the proof they needed, they still had it open and accepted my documents (keep in mind that they don’t even acknowledge receipt, they don’t respond after days as well to their emails). If rental history is required, then why not mention this when you got my application and when we were communicating back and forth? I gathered all documents, got some documents from HR which took days just for you to say ā€˜denied because of rental history’. This could have been mentioned at the very beginning before asking me for more documentation from my work.

I am glad my previous post has helped some people and they even loved it. I hope this saved them from having to rent from this company, very dishonest and hard to work with.

My fiance’ and I put in an application for one of their rental properties on 11/12/24. We spoke to them a few times to get application status and it was either we are still processing your application or we will be sending you and email with your application status by 5 pm on 12/09/24. Never received an email. I called today around 12pm and was told she would be sending the email with application status once she was back at her desk in 30 mins to and hr. I have it about 2hrs before I called again. As soon as I said my name, I was hung up on and when I tried to call back immediately after, no one answered. I understand things take time to process but if I’m calling and have paid my application fee, I am entitled to know the status of an application. To hang up on me and stop communication is terrible business ethics. I wouldn’t dare recommend anyone to this company. It’s a a shame they are still in business. I even said I hate to be a bother but I need to know the status or if I need to go elsewhere.

I can’t say enough about the service we receive from Affinity Management! They communicate with any issues, did a 6 month check in of our property to includes pictures and how the tenants are treating our investment. We can’t thank them enough and I will continue to recommend them to friends in need of property management services.

I do not recommend their service. I would call for problems but they would only wanna text. Unnecessary fees. I was evicted on a certain day never got a time but they came very early in the morning once again they never said a time. They responded back saying was well you knew we was coming, yeah I knew you were coming but once again y’all never said a time. Very rude and nasty. The first thing they did was go in the kitchen to throw my food out, knowing I have a whole child. They rushed me to get my stuff out when it was still early in the morning. That’s definitely not right at all. I don’t recommend them at all!
