I've called twice & I don't remember the lady I spoke to but, every time I talked to her she was giving out false information or it just sounds as if she's making up stuff as she goes along. I called 2 days ago about a property. I call back today & now there's EXTRA fees. She told me I could call back at a certain time to speak with the owner of a particular property. I spoke to another woman who said that was not true at all. I felt like I was being scammed. this is why I call before I make decisions on touring the property or doing the application. Mind you, I also asked about requirements for their properties. What I was told today was not what I was told a few days ago. My experience was unsatisfactory & I will not rent with them at all.

I had a good experience with Academy Properties. My rental house was in a perfect location and I got in with no problems. After i purchased my first house this year I had no problems. I reccommend if your looking for rentals in the ATL area.

This is the most horrible unprofessional place I ever called! The girl that answers the phone is beyond unprofessional and rude!! She has the worst attitude and she is rude! This is so sad that people don’t even have a heart

And that is a lie I did not have an attitude when I called first of all I never got my question out before you rudely cut me off and proceeded to give me the wrong contact person for a tour which is a lady who work in Warren robins. For you to get on here a lie is way beyond me. Like what kind of customer services is this lack of professionalism because if you was told by your staff that someone was rude to me you should have picked up the phone and called me the customer to see what actually happened instead of assuming.

Academy properties was not a bad property management company. They always had some one come out to look at repairs in a timely manor. They even extended our lease for a month when we asked. The issues I had were with the house itself. It’s a bit older but the walls were paper thin, it was very easily accessible to mice, and there were always ants no matter how clean things were. Also the pilot light was always going out on the heater. Again these are just issues with the house not the management company.

If you're looking at renting from Gary, please read some of his past tense reviews and look at how he responds to negative criticisms. He is this rude and nasty in person, over the phone, and over emails. This is not someone you want to have to deal with.

If you were looking at hiring academy properties (Gary) to handle one of your properties, please know that he does not care about your property, he does not care about your property, he only cares about the money that your property can make him.

P.S.
Gary is very well known for doing shady (if not illegal things) to not only the tenants that inhabit the properties he manages, but also the owners of these properties.

Gary and his team are great! They managed my rental property and made the process very easy. I didn't have to deal with tenants or worry about any issues. They were very attentive to any questions I had. I would definitely use them for any future rentals.
