Not a good experience. A property became available for rent with a 02/19 availability date. I put my application in and on their website, states that applications are reviewed within 3-4 business days. An entire week went by with no update for my application and was told it wasn’t even reviewed. I also asked two questions about the unit via email that were ignored by the leasing agent. I then called to book a tour for the unit and was met with an unenthusiastic response and time and a heads up that the availability date probably won’t be until 03/01 (10 days past the date stated on their website). I showed up at the time given to me for the tour and after standing in the rain several minutes after my given time, had to call back and was told I can’t be shown the unit because there is no power. Why would you schedule a tour with me knowing the power isn’t on or working? I took an entire hour off of work early just for this tour to be canceled, my application still not even looked at, and my two questions unanswered. One of the agents said that the agent I’m working with left me a voicemail to cancel (never got a single thing except one missed call that I assumed was spam). This company is very unprofessional and had I known this was the way they conduct business, I wouldn’t have even wasted my money on the application. If you want your rental process conducted in a timely and efficient manner, I would not recommend Aborn Properties to anyone. I never leave negative reviews, but moving and finding somewhere to live is already nerve wracking in itself, and this experience just made it even worst as I turned down another property in hopes that this would be the one.

Aborn Properties was my property manager for more than three years. I was very impressed with their professionalism and service. As a tenant, I appreciated their quick response time and attention to detail. My contact was Joi and she was always very friendly and willing to help without being intrusive or annoying. Rent payments were facilitated by an easy and immediate online payment system which meant I didn't have to send a rent check a week in advance. The return of the deposit was fair, timely, and well detailed. My experience with Aborn was first-rate and I would highly recommend them.

Joi from Aborn Property has been helping me manage my rental property for the last 10 years. She's professional, quick to respond to any questions/concerns I have, and very conscientious about saving money for me, be it a small repair/maintenance or a decent-sized remodel we recently did.
