I have been a tenant with All East Bay Properties for almost two years. I was extremely fortunate to find a beautiful home with affordable pricing with All East Bay Properties. From the beginning when I was looking for apartments to rent to the this moment when I am about to move out, All East Bay Properties have been extremely helpful and offered great support.
I really appreciate All East Bay and their service. During my current lease I had to put some maintenance requests and ask for help with appliances and other minor things, they have always been fast and efficient helping me! They offered great service, fixed what needed to be fixed in my home and replaced what needed be replaced, all in very efficient time.
Communication with them was always great and easy. Same with payments and requests for maintenance, they use an app that makes everything easier and more convenient.
I am extremely satisfied with my experience with All East Bay Properties!

They took almost my entire deposit when I moved out minus $100 for "urine damage" of the carpet even though I never had a pet. They basically charged me the cost of replacing the entire carpet. I even had the carpet professionally cleaned when I moved out as per the lease so basically I wasted that money too.

I have been extremely satisfied with the services provided by All East Bay Properties. They are incredibly responsive, always addressing my queries and concerns promptly. Their efficiency in finding tenants is impressive; my property has never been vacant for long. We had a situation where the water bill is included as part of the HOA. Jason has been super helpful in terms of working with the tenants to get the water bill reimbursed to us.

After collecting a total of $100 in "application fees," the company informed me that the apartment I applied for was temporarily unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. They stated that it might take 4-6 weeks before applications could be accepted again. Furthermore, they refused to refund the "application fees," claiming that these were collected by another entity, not them. This justification is clearly unacceptable. It is unreasonable for the company to prevent tenants from securing an unit due to their own unprofessionalism, yet still refuse to refund the application fees. I noticed that other people have also experienced similar issues, and I regret not reading those reviews earlier. I am now preparing to take this case to small claims court.

East Bay Properties was a great company to work with at the beginning and towards the end. Auguste was great and super responsive and helpful. I had a completely positive experience. I had to break the lease and Auguste was very helpful. After I gave a nice review though they told me I had to give the keys back before my move out date and then charged me $800 for an HOA fee and cleaning. Super nice and helpful up until I had to leave and then misleading. The $800 charge seems unfair to me and tagging on some HOA move in fee even though I am moving out.

One of their realtors, Maryanne Schmidt, exhibited extremely unprofessional behavior during my apartment search. She abruptly cancelled my appointment for an apartment tour the day before without as much as an email or text explaining why my appointment was cancelled. I had to find out my appointment was cancelled through a Google notification. If there is this level of unprofessionalism and callousness exhibited during the search process, I can only imagine what it would be like to work with them as a tenant.
