Doug Anderson Property Management has been managing our rental in Lancaster since 2013. They have been very professional in the handling of any issues we have encountered. We rented a home for over 2 years with no issues. The office staff was always friendly when I called and took care of maintenance requests quickly. We would have loved to rent with them again but they didn’t have any homes available suitable for our size family. When we moved out we received our full security deposit minus a small cleaning fee. I would definitely rent with Doug Anderson again.

Today, a male with combed back salt and pepper medium length hair wearing their Doug Anderson shirt yelled at my autistic daughter in a store because she was upset about her tv not working. I was there to swap equipment. Another customer immediately screamed at him for screaming at her without even assessing her situation. It’s obvious that she’s autistic. She rocks and was making a lot of noise. He apologized to the Spectrum clerk, but never looked back at us to apologize. It was so upsetting and disappointing.

Contacted them through Realtor.com, which they say they aren't on but they are. Got responses on two properties asking me to call and set up an appointment for viewing of the properties. Finally got through to someone and was told the properties were already full on applications. I told him he should take the listings off of Realtor.com. He responded that he wasn't on there then hung up on me without another word. Very unprofessional and rude. Didn't even offer to tell me of any other properties on the market in that area. I have been looking of 9 months now for a place and a company like this holding them all, doesn't make me feel good about finding a home.

This company was ok until Doug Andersen had passed away in 2017. Now it's beyond awful! They just parasite on the home owners. The greed of the new owner of that place is just overwhelming. Lots of employees ran away, remaining ones are scared of their own shadows and therefore, act weird to keep the employment. Don't get involved with this company, they'll mistake your pocket for the oil well and will leave you high and dry!

My 78 year old mother made an appointment to view a property and I accompanied her. When we arrived, the realtor closed the door behind him and rudely told us that he can not let us in. He said that she did not sign a Covid waiver that was sent by email that she did not even receive. The realtor proceeded to raise his voice to talk over her ,locked the door behind him and said he had another appointment. Is that how you speak to your elders and customers? When we called the property management to file a complaint, they were just as rude. They are so unwelcoming and unprofessional.

I had a family member that had been trying to get a place and they have section 8. My family member has been in her property for 20 plus years. This property management office has been real bias and they stereotype people. I feel like they should give ppl a chance especially that are in need. I would not refer anyone to this establishment. I would rent to section 8 if I had multiple properties. The funds are guaranteed monthly. James King is very bias. He don't wanna give people with section 8 a chance. I really hope he is never on that side of the fence in need if housing

I never experienced an issue although I did check business licensing and they don't have one! Check with department of real estate and City Hall business license HDL.
