We have a condominium in La Jolla Shores managed by Harland and are only here infrequently.

On May 13, I was here alone. I went into the utility closet to get some supplies and closed the door behind me. When I went to exit, the door would not open. It's a non-locking door, but the spring mechanism inside of the handle had broken, so the handle would not withdraw the latch plate and let me out.

Luckily I had my phone.

I considered 911 but called Harland first.

Devon knew this was a real emergency and arrived in 15 minutes !!!

From outside the utility closet (I was inside) she opened the door and let me out.

Bottom line -
You can whine all you like about the garbage not being taken out or weeds not being removed, but when push came to shove in a real emergency, Devon went into full combat mode and saved to day !

We hired Harland Property Management to manage one of our apartment buildings two years ago. The property was vacant due to a major renovation. We were impressed with how quickly they have filled the units. The communication has been excellent, screening of tenants superb and they have worked efficiently through all the end of construction details and issues. Our building is always full and they have taken meticulous care of it from a maintenance standpoint.

Devon and Vina have been wonderful to work with and are always willing to answer questions and address any concerns. Kayvon is professional, knows all the rental laws and what is required to manage the building effectively.

We have been really impressed with Harland Property Management and feel the fees are fair and love that they don’t add on extra for repairs and maintenance like so many other management companies we have used. Repair prices are extremely competitive and not excessive.
