Sandi is the most rude and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. She’s just plain mean. Check out the yelp reviews to confirm that there are numerous people who feel the same way and have been wronged by Del Mar Property Management. I have been a tenant with them for almost one year and move in a few weeks. Sandi breaks the law and has no regard for tenant rights. They are very cheap and please don’t expect anything to get fixed. They off-load everything possible to tenants. During my time renting from them I have been treated horribly and they do not care or take care of their properties. Beware of working with this company!

Not a great experience. I guess when you don't have a choice and you want/need to rent a property they manage you have to accept it and deal with this company. Thankfully the every day people you usually interact with, like the office managers and maintenance people are nice enough BUT the owner Sandi has a terrible attitude. If you have other options, go with some other company.

Del mar property management and Sandi Chan have handle rental properties for me for 15 years. She has always been professional and many times gone beyond what her duties were to help a tenant or to help me as the owner. She also know how to get a place rented quickly to a financially able tenant.

Beware of renting a home or vacation rental from this company. They have been horrible to deal with, providing very rude person to person interaction, unfairly with holding the outrageous deposit, violating California tenancy laws, misplacing rental payments made 6 months in advance, providing questionable accounting, sending abundant rude emails demanding immediate response, yet taking weeks or never even responding to emails requesting maintenance, and have even made illegal eviction threats. There is absolutely zero concern for the rights or comfort of the tenant, even though they handle relatively expensive rental properties. Additionally, I would caution anyone who brokers their property through this company. They have proven to be a poor representative of an otherwise cute townhouse in a lovely part of Del Mar, Ca. I believe i will need to take this to small claims court just to recoup my deposit, even though the property was left in good condition, vacated a week early and rent had been paid in advance.
