Diamond Real Estate Management keeps missing the mark. Our apartment wasn't ready by the time we were ready to move (due to reasonable circumstances), so my mother and I were placed in a different, available unit with the same layout.

Signing our documents went terribly: my mother and I signed on different days, and both of us came to sign around 3:25pm, but they would not let my mother sign because they had to go to the bank to make a deposit. Note that the bank closes at 6pm, and Diamond closes at 4pm. Signing documents takes less than 10 minutes. I don't think I need to spell anything out. Their decision made my mom's actual signing day push back our move substantially.

As for the apartment, it was a pigsty in there. Besides a dirty place with trash in each room, there were broken switches, cobwebbed windows, water problems, and a broken garage door opener. This was supposedly a newly cleaned, available apartment. At this point, I don't see any possible growth from Diamond if they continue to operate like this. It's shameful.

Honestly the WORST rental management company! THEY NEVER ANSWER. AWAYS leave the office an hour or more before closing time I never catch them in the office when I get off work. WHEN YOU MOVE INTO THE APARTMENT MAKE SURE YOU TAKE VIDEOyou of all the apartment because when you move out they will try to charge for every little detail even if it was already there whenyou move. If you rent from 1727 Blanche st, be prepared to struggle. They have really old window that shake even with the wind. They tried to charge me with a broken window when I never broke one. They’re CHARGING me to replace a screen door from the back. When I moved in, the screen door was not even installed. It was just laying on a corner in the back patio. I was already riped when I got there and they want for me to pay it. the filter of the stove was missing when I got there and they want me to pay for it. Overall displeased with this company. They’re were 3 parking spots in the back for the tenants and one apartment took all 3.

Moving in they were really nice and friendly. But moving out they took my security deposit. And tried to charge me an extra 100 dollars. They had multiple companies do they apartment clean up so they could charge unnecessarily. So end story i put a $700 deposit and came out owing. I left the apartment in better condition than what i found it. Nice to see this is how diamond real estate treats its military service members. Dont rent. They will take your whole security deposit.

I’ve been renting from Diamond since May of 2017 and I have been loving it! I love my townhouse and my complex. There’s not many bugs (if any!) at all. I mean it’s Bakersfield they are everywhere and this place has the least amount of any place that I’ve ever been. They do routine pest control, if I want it. I take it upon myself to maintain my house (keep it clean/ use spray) it hasn’t worsened at all. That was my main concern moving in and it’s been 6 months and now, it’s the least of my worries!

If/when needed they come out and repair anything as soon as I send an email or give them a call. They are timely and i like that! Literally as soon as I report any maintenance request they address it right away. Just as if it were their own home. I love that about them and that’s why i recommend them to everyone else. They maintain their properties very well! So far so good and it’s been about six months.

As for the staff; Jannie and the other women at the office are super nice to my boyfriend and i before we moved in, while checking out the place and every time that we contact them with any request or questions. I was even late on my rent and they didnt harass me . It’s nice that the trust goes both ways here. I highly suggest Diamond to anyone looking for a place to rent from or for their own property to be managed.

I can tell you that if and when i buy my own house/property i will be asking them to manage it for me. I know for sure that i could trust them with my property, since i am a current renter myself. When i reach that bridge i am so very prepared to cross it.

been with diamond realty even when it was intercontinental realty before it became diamond realty. The landlord is very helpful and understanding. I have lived where i reside for the last 5 years and in another apartment through them for 2 years. and 5 years in my teen years with my parents. Never had any issues, all needs and services were met on a timely manner. No complaints.

So my landlords have failed to provide service to my apartment because the owner's are in the middle of going through Escrow?

well guesss what? i STILL LIVE THERE and i am entitled to maintenance on my apartment.

When i called the office. the Manager Jamie was sooooo RUDE!

I will NEVER rent from this place again, and i KNOW renters like myself are huge advocates. i'll let everyone i know NOT TO RENT from them EITHER !!!

Put application in on Monday. And everything from there was horrible. Very unprofessional rarely even answered the phone. Don’t follow office hours. But very quick to take your money!! Not helpful at all. Would not recommend to anyone!!!

Extremely displeased with this company & their unprofessional employees! Any issue I have takes MONTHS to be resolved, speaking with them over the phone is like trying to communicate with BABOONS! AVOID this place and their properties like the plegue! They are the definition of SLUM!
