This company doesnt want to look bad so they are responding to some reviews with " I dont know who you are " or " You confused us with someone else" or "What unit number are you so I can pull up your account".
For what so they can evict you .
Dont fall for it. Fake names are better given because these people respond like Gangster or Cartel organization.

Worse experience ever. They demand so much from you but if you ask anything of them, they get upset and have an attitude about it. Know your rights. If they do not repair something within 30 days, you have every right to pay for it yourself deduct it from the rent and submit a receipt. Good luck working with this company. I'm glad I dodged the bullet.

My home was supposed to be inspected and this place never knocked the door, now I am being charged for them trying to ring a door bell that does not work, they have put me into alot of anxiety and mental stress. I feel harassed and not heard, I feel as if they don't care, and I am doing everything in Hand and foot. I am now being charged for them not doing the inspection and I was home my brother was in the main hallway sitting down and no one ever knocked. This place needs retraining and needs to be inspected itself. I am very upset and I usually don't like to post negative things but this is too far. I got a 24 hr notice for the inspection when I was told it was going to be a month prior, I pay everything and keep the place spotless as if it were mine. I don't understand why the dryness, like I said I am very very stressed and my anxiety it through the roof, and they put my car to be towed almost immediately and I by the time I received the letter it was during the weekend and almost the day of, I had a total panic attack and had it moving by the next day. They acknowledged they didn't knock and I was told if the door was not opened immediately they leave the charge and the card. I am very upset and I am no longer comfortable with them, I didn't want t to believe the reviews but they are 100000% real from my experience. We are taken advantage of by paying something we had didn't even do. I was not notified that the policy for 24 hrs to inspection was done. Not a letter not a call nothing just a 24 hr notice. Seeing all the reviews and experiencing this myself, you need to lawyer up and prepare because they don't care.

If I could leave No stars I would,, I went into the office to apply in person so that I could ask questions and be thorough on what is expected of us before we apply cause really, anyone who's moving is not gonna have $100 to throw away like that, just to apply and be denied! The property I applied for has been listed for 63 days & 46 contacts and you're telling me NOONE is qualified?! And you Can Not tell me why! I believe that is my right! It seems to me that these people have made this a 'cold' side hustle collecting as many application fees before they finally rent! Me and my dad are renting currently a house with this people and I've been having nothing but bad experiences, i do not recommend five start property management, they do no care about there costumers, everytime something goes bad in the house they never want to fix and they even tried to charged us when they actually fix something. Oh and dont make a late payment because they charged extra 300$ fee just for a late payment. Oh and the people that works in their office always have a bad attitude. Every time i show up to their office they always give me a bad attitude. All they care about its money. Good luck if you're trying to rent something with them, personally i do not recommend it, this company is not doing what they suppose to do my name is alan medel and you guys know exactly what im talking about

I would leave negative stars if possible. These people are horrible! We moved into a “move in ready house” that was absolutely disgusting! They claimed to have cleaned it twice. It took me two days to thoroughly clean it, and it was infested with roaches. We had to have Dewey come out and completely fumigated the entire house for months before we no longer saw them. It was disgusting. All they said was “It was not their responsibility.” The microwave was hot glued together and when asked to fix it, they brought and used counter top microwave, so I fixed it myself. We went two years asking for the sliding glass door handle to be repaired just to get the run around. We had a wooden stick in the door as a lock.
The kitchen sink was chipped and rusted and leaking. When asked to have it fixed we were told it was fine and rust would cause no harm. Again, I ordered the parts and fixed it myself.
The a/c had a leak which caused water damage above the bathroom door. It swelled the door frame and caused damage. The did not replace anything. They let it dry, put putty around it, then painted it the wrong color. So the wall was two different colors.
The flowerbeds had no water going to them. The plants were ripped out and sprinklers capped off. I ran tubing through there to get sprinklers and put plants, added trellis, fixed bricks and made it look presentable.
We fixed the fence in the backyard, I replaced sprinklers in the backyard and brought the yard back to life. The backyard was full of dog crap holes, rocks and completely dead.
They hire and fire their maintenance people so often, no one ever knows what’s going on. That goes to show you the kind of work they put into the house. I took several pictures on move in that I still have but apparently were misplaced because they were not compared on move out. I was charged for ridiculous patching and painting and not given my full deposit on move out. After the condition I was given the house, the BS we went through with their company and maintenance and still gave them the house back move in ready, EARLY and NEVER asked to be reimbursed for any work I put into that home. This place is absolutely ridiculous! I would never recommend this place to anyone! Serena, told me what to fix and turned around and charged me anyways. Jesse said We should not have to even clean the house because it was filthy upon move in and still charge us. Five Star, you should really work on you customer service and stand behind what you say!

Should have believed the reviews , we applied for a place that we are over qualified for and was denied . The communication was horrible they never called and denied me I had to keep calling and honestly I believe they got tired of me calling . I was told it was the beginning of the month and rent is there priority not applications well if your a managment company you should be able to juggle both I think that the lack of professionalism honestly was the worst part , I emailed them for the reason of denial no response but when it was time to Zelle money for the application it was a very prompt response do not consider them if you don’t wanna just throw away money on application fee’s you will be denied without reasoning !

I applied for a condo with Five Star Management. According to their qualifications all you need is- One (1) Year Good Rental History / Make Three (3) Times Amount of Rent / No Evictions, No Judgments & No Utilities in Collection (this is directly from their website). They had already pulled my credit and called my personal references. I then called for a status on my application and they told me that they were just trying to verify my rental history nothing else. I helped them with another number to call and asked if they needed any other info or questions and they told me no they will give me a call back. Never received a call so I called them 3 days later and found out I was denied and they could not disclosed over the phone why I got denied and that I would receive a letter in the mail. After I received the letter all they did was send a letter of my credit report and it said I was denied. NO WHERE in their qualifications did they say you need immaculate credit to rent from them. I qualified for everything they listed on their website. And why continue to call my references and my landlord if you were already going to to deny Make it make sense Five Star!
