It really helped that they were very low pressure so we could thoughtfully plan and evaluate options. When we finally chose a place to bid on, they were attentive and responsive. Like probably most people, we went with Arrivva based on the flat fee to purchase a property. Compared to the regular 1.5 to 2.0% fee, we likely saved more than $20,000.

The purchase went smoothly and we don't think that a percentage based realtor would have been better. We did not encounter any major issues. They only (or mainly) communicate via Slack which may not be for everybody but worked nicely for us.

We definitely recommend them over going with a percentage based compensation, especially in the bay area where houses are quite expensive.

Arrivva is a great real estate agent to use. Fred is the owner and main point of contact. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience in real estate. I just bought a home with them in So Cal and Arriva saved me a LOT of money rather than using the traditional real estate agent. They don't hold your hand so you do have to take initiative on your own but to me it was worth the savings. I would definitely use them again if I buy or sell a home.

Worked with Fred & team to put in offers on a few houses before finally getting our forever home. I found Fred & team had great knowledge of the different neighborhoods in the Bay Area and were great at pulling comps and knew what it would take to definitely win each home we put an offer in on (we just weren't willing to go as high for the first few places we put an offer on until we found the perfect place). Communication was over slack which worked really well and found the team was always responsive. The savings on the buyers fee is what helped us win the house by being able to pass that savings back to the seller. Would definitely highly recommend Arrivva.
