We appreciate the ‘behind the scenes’ team at Nielson-from prompt replies to our many emails and good communication with us and our realtor to our construction walk through and follow up and to our paperwork completion too. It was all done timely and as stated. We appreciate everyone we worked with at Nielson Construction and our new home is fabulous!

With a my broker I tried to buy Nelson construction new home. My broker convinced me to buy their home without inspection because he thought house is new. House wasn't finished but the time I agreed to buy it and within 4 weeks they completed the house with unexpected way. in fact there was some projects unfinished. Before closing date I started doubt about their construction quality. House had in know damaged on the basement. I asked my dealer the reason and wouldn't bring me enough reason besides telling me it is cosmetic damage. I decided to do home inspection and many cracks, dents found. I asked my dealer if he they can fix it and what I got was they are not willing. So, they trapped me on buy it as it is situations. Due to this If they are not willing to negotiate I decided to Walk out and I asked my money back. Again they declined to refund my money and made me lose over 3000 dollar. So I don't suggest buy a house with them and Tyler Goff real State. this what it looks like their poor new construction home, and once they lock you to purchase agreement they will not willing to fix anything!

Changing my review to one star, (see pics) as little over 2 years passed and driveway started collapsing, some crimping upward about an inch and some are cracking downwards., Also noticed significant large diagonal cracks in some of the slab squares they cut in around. 2nd (and main reason why I changed it) possible fire hazard as they didn’t use the right drywall around the fireplace, according to Fire Pros so some odd plastic started melting around it, tried getting hold of Brad as this was not a warranty issue, no response or ownership of any kind. I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable doing business with such company again. Not recommended!

We used Nielson Construction for our first home build and could not be more pleased! The time frame we were given was spot which is not the case in the world we are living in now days. The communication between the staff, my husband, and I was exceptional! Every step was explained very well and was great to always be in the loop! We plan to build again as we continue to grow our family and will definitely use Nielson Construction again!!

Built a house with Nielson about a year and a half ago. In my opinion if your building a starter home and not a forever home you might not be as disappointed as I am. Pretty much everything we did for upgrades and such was not rite. Our kitchen backsplash is so crooked I can barely stand to look at it. Our heated tile floor upgrades are not level in the master bath and some of the tiles have stains which could not be cleaned. They basically said that they could not remove, fix or replace because it could reck the floor heat. The driveway after two winters looks like it’s ten years old from cracking and weathering already, that of witch they would not stand behind. Our vinyl plank flooring had many scratches in it from the beginning. Our windows still have overspray that was never removed. I feel like they basically tried to hand us a house they built as fast as they could (6 months) with no workmanship most of which is just done by a bunch of sub par subcontractors. Definitely would have went with another builder knowing what I know now.

Everything went great. They always keep you informed and updated on the construction progress. Our home was completed and we were able to move in a week ahead of schedule. I would use Nielsen Construction again if we were to build another home.

The listing agent for this company is not professional at all. We had put offers in on new construction houses. One property that was available we tried to put in an offer for full asking price and got told no cause she was accepting a verbal offer instead of our official signed offer. Then we put a bid on another house that we liked. Asked about one of their house floor plans fitting on the lot with a three stall garage. She proceeds to call me instead of my agent. I told her that she needed to talk to my realtor about this. Then get the run around for the next couple days about the house. Finally on Friday afternoon she gets back to my realtor and tells her "they will not build for us"!!!!! are you kidding me. This is the worse company in the world to work for!!!!!!!
