I and my family settled comfortably in Prairie Trail Townhomes. We appreciate the clean, safe, and elegant community that we live in. We are grateful for the smooth and easy transition from the house tour up to the handing of the keys. It’s amazing that we can contact the management anytime through text and email and Ryan is always responsive to our inquiries and questions. Thank you Ryan and RPM Express!

My virtual appointment with Sarah on Monday afternoon went very well. I was impressed how easy it was to get connected and to start talking with her – – I also felt very comfortable sharing my questions and concerns. I felt she was open and considerate, and overall, it went very well. I came away with a better understanding of Maple Park and I’m considering moving there very seriously. Nathan was great showing me around Powderhaus Apartments. I came in hoping to just get more information not expecting to talk to anyone long since I didn't have an appointment. Nathan was able to sit down and talk to me. I was able to get a quote sheet on the apartment I am looking at. He then gave me a tour of the apartment and answered any questions I had. Great experience!

We looked at a house today in Sioux Falls. The property manager was very kind as we were late. I wrote the address down backwards. Her patience were much appreciated as we did love the house. Katherine did an excellent job showing us the property and answering all of our questions. She made us feel comfortable and welcomed from the get go, even though we were late a few minutes. Katherine did an amazing job showing us this home today and appreciate her taking the time to go over everything throughly with us.

The apartment interior was nice and easy to set up auto pay for rent. But the issue comes from promises not kept.
We chose this apartment for the amenities listed such as volleyball and the pool/splash pad. Neither of which were available for the entire time we were there.
When asked about a partial rent refund because of how much we paid to have these amenities we were told that there “was nothing we can do”.

Few reasons for this rating (as a tenant):
1) Difficult with communication - group of agents with clear miscommunication we received different information from different agents and had a difficult time getting a straight forward answer
2) We went to a showing, after we signed the lease, the tenants were to move out that weekend, our move in date was 2 weeks later and the property was not prepared
3) Denied moving into the new place due to their poor planning, and delayed maintenance.

Nothing but issues from the start, definitely don't even deserve the single star rating. Don't recommend.

UPDATE: We were moved into a new location, No fees were waived just transferred, and last minute move in. I input multiple requests for maintenance, for things that were broken before we got there, all pictures have dates, and all but 1 of the requests were cancelled with no further explanation.

I have moved often in my life and this is the absolute worst experience i have ever had, in terms of renting. Still waiting on an updated lease as well. I would not recommend this to anyone, and whoever does do business with this company i hope your experience is better than mine.

2nd UPDATE: After back and forth and a difficult time, Maintenance requests were figured out, their system is just bad. However, going through the charges i discovered that i was being double charged for 2 things - Pet Fee, and Documentation Fee. This was after i was told Documentation Fee would be waived and after the Pet Fee would be transferred from the previous location.

I do hope at some point things take a turn for the better but until then, this review will just keep getting longer and longer based on my experience.

3rd Update: These people have the audacity, to not only double charge, but to attempt to evict us a week after moving in.

Still no maintenance has been completed, after i was told we'd "be taken care of." Literally the worst management experience ever. Don't rent with these guys or JD Property management which is their parent company. 0 regard, 0 respect, 0 accountability, 0 customer service, 0 satisfaction. If i could give negative stars i would. Don't waste your time with this company as a tenant. If i didn't have reasons for staying we would have left already. This is my last review unless anything improves, which i doubt.

TLDR; Don't be a tenant to Rea Property Management Express or JD property Management. 0/100 Good luck if you do business with them.

Truly appreciate the help and support from Gina, Sergio and others. The application process, move in and repair fixes were all smooth and considerate. A special shout out to Sergio for his exceptional service while repairing various needs and explaining how to utilize certain equipment, like the apartment heat. Sergio was helpful as always. He fixed all the things that needed attention with care and completion. He even brought some paint to cover the holes needed to change the blinds. Very thoughtful and pleasant.
