The word incompetence doesn’t begin to fully describe how terrible ABD is.

I would fully advise anyone looking for a home to not be swayed by the apparent outward features and prices of the homes. From the build process to closing, I’ve never met a more rude and incompetent group of people.

If you have any issues with your home upon closing (you will) forget being able to get in touch with anyone, and definitely forget the idea that the work will be quality or taken care of upon the first attempted fix.

I’ve taken a survey of five different neighbors on our block, and all of them have had the same issues with lacking quality, issues not being rectified, or even close to being taken care of upon closing and months on months of waiting for any sort of fix. When they do come, the work is never done correctly. I’ve now resorted to looking for outside contractors.

When the superintendent managing the punch up list of your home tells you that they have a hard time finding quality contractors you know something is wrong.

It's been nearly 2 years and they have not completed the punch list from the day of closing. The house they built is great - but their follow-through and lack of communication leave much to be desired.

I recently closed on my house a few weeks ago. I was very happy with my over all experience with ABD and highly recommend them as a builder. The project manager stayed engaged throughout the entire process and addressed my concerns and issues in a timely manner. As a result of her efforts, I was able to close on time and lock in a excellent interest rate.
I found very few issues during the walk through. The few items identified on the punch list were addressed immediately. I am very happy with the quality of work and attention to detail. My overall experience with ABD pre and post closing has been excellent and the customer service exceeded my expectations. I am very happy with my new home.

DO not, and I mean do not contract with this company to build your home. I closed on our house in November and our house is still not completed. I threatened to get an attorney and was told go ahead, we will just stop doing anything and fight you. How about just finish our house? This builder is a joke! These are just a few of the pics.

We started working with Annette almost three years ago. She was so helpful and patient with us! We finally found the Single Story Courtyard was our dream home. ABD was amazing from the beginning to picking out every detail and allowing us to customize the home. This is our second home in Providence, and we are loving living in Sherbrook Springs! ABD will not reliquish HOA control until they are finished developing the community. However, they do absolutely nothing to protect the full-time residents here.

Last night a group of at least 10 people staying in a rental home went around breaking into cars. There is no night security, only daytime.

We were promised a second pool. That did not happen.

We were promised a second entrance. That did not happen.

We were promised onsite dining via the clubhouse. They now only cater to golfers.

Traffic is forced to go through a roundabout that is not large enough to accommodate more than one vehicle. The roundabout has a stop sign, which completely negates the effectiveness of a roundabout. Worst still, they hire the police to enforce the stop sign, as well as driving speed. Why there isn't just speed tables or speed bumps is beyond me.

They waste tons of money on signs for rules that they do not enforce. They include, but are not limited to, one that reads "no ball playing" for a single neighbor that complained. That same neighbor is also moving out, so I'm not sure why they received preferential treatment to begin with.
