Before you buy from Hartness construction, do yourself a favor and ask anyone who dealt with them in the Villas (Dubose Dr and Graham St).

We love the neighborhood but the construction process is beyond painful. DO NOT take their word that things will be fixed in a timely fashion. We are almost a year in to it and we still have no idea when we’ll get done. If you sign up, hold back money in escrow (enough to make them take care of things faster).

Hubby and I enjoyed the restaurant, the mountain view and the surrounding amenities. I seriously considered buying a home there. Looks like nice clean living with the vegetable garden, walking trails etc.

It's rare to find a new neighborhood that's thoughtfully built. The Hartness is that. They're thoughtfully including uses other than residential, like a hotel, some retail, and even a school (Thales). They're thoughtfully focusing on community, cutting down on excessive suburban-style green space to instead devote land to useful things (like trails and neighborhood parks). They're thoughtfully including even some relatively small houses in the neighborhood (i.e. the Jasmine Cottage, just under 1,000 square feet ), instead of building exclusively enormous homes. I like it.

What a beautiful new community. The homes are gorgeous and the amenities are so numerous.So many different layouts of homes and the little villages within the community is amazing.Very professional people working there to get the perfect home for you.
