DO NOT and I repeat DO NO USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. They allow their property to get run down, they have rats and roaches, and when you let management know about it, nothing is done. I was told my town house would be ready to be moved in but it was far from it! The refrigerator didn’t work and the outlets didn’t have covers on them exposing wire. They will keep your security deposit and not give you a reason as to why you’re not getting your money back. They will hang up on you if you’re trying to have a civil conversation but they don’t want to hear what you have to say. All in all horrible experience and I encourage everyone to STAY AWAY!!

Would not recommend this place to anyone. I used them for about 5 years to rent my house out that I own which was a brand new house built in 2018. It started out good but gradually got worse. I was told they would find good tenants to rent the house but the tenant that rented the house the past few years was late on paying rent every month. Was supposed to have only one dog but I found out he had 5. I told the rental place about it and nothing was ever done. The dogs ruined the inside of my house and chewed up everything, I’m now responsible for fixing all the damage that was done. Also caught their crew taking my 55 inch TV that was mounted on the wall that they claimed they thought belonged to the tenant. Luckily I realized the TV was gone when I went and checked on the place and made them return it. Very disappointed in the way they handled a lot of things during my business with them. I would not choose to use this place again. I hope this review saves someone from having a bad experience.

I would not use this company to manage your real estate property. Nor would I rent from ANY of the properties they own.
They are slum lords. They let their properties run down so badly. Even to where their properties have become so bad with leaking roofs that are ready to collapse. Well, even then they don't return a phone call. Maybe on a good day they will have someone put a tarp on your roof and that tarp remains for years.
They have siding coming off their properties. Again where water can enter and cause damage. The properties are stained green with mold. Shutters and doors not painted on their homes. Again very very run down.
Another thing when one tenant moves out. They don't even have anyone come in and clean, paint or do anything.
Unfortunately our subdivision has them managing or owning many properties. We have seen and heard the horror stories. Tenants who pay very good money for rent. But yet are living in an environment they fear is making them sick. And have places that are not upkept.They can't get Lisa Anacona to return a call to them.
Run as fast as you can from this company.

Lisa Ancona recently acted as my Buyer's Agent for a home purchase. I highly recommend her! She is professional, competent, thorough, calm, courteous, and always responsive! I don't see how there could possibly be a better real estate agent in the area!

It was disappointing to deal with Carolina Home. It's hard to keep up with their details. You feel like you have to do all the work and call to update them. Also heard from one of the soldiers in ADA Battalion that they have "helped" other people in the past with issues on roofing but after offering a sum of money and learning one guy needing help was a veteran, they backed out. This is the third time I've heard this. Allegedly the HOA claims Carolina Home occupies one of their officer positions and can resolve the conflict while CHRE claims to only be the hired help and to have no power over the situation, yet has offered help to others financially. They say he's got a lawyer on it so everyone do your homework first. From what my husband says, if he gets a Judge Advocate from the VA on them, hot water is the best case scenario.
