I really love this community and have met great people, and feel very safe here. Maintenance staff is very responsive. Also love the proximity to restaurants & shops, a quick walk to downtown TR, and accessibility to the Swamp Rabbit Trail for walking/biking.

The walls are thin, if you what to sleep without dogs barking and hearing all the next apartment’s activities this is not the place to live for the amount of rent one pays.
The gym is nice which was the deciding factor for moving here. Unfortunately it’s not disclosed that the doors lock at 10 which is the earliest timeframe I can workout. I would not have moved to this particular complex under that one condition but not being able to sleep due to thin walls just the final nailed in the coffin.
The staff has been nice no real issues maintenance staff has been good. Get an air filter to filter out the dust and such in your apartment.
Nice location to enjoy and easy access to Swamp Rabbit Trail. Shops close up early, it’s easier to enjoy the area on Saturday. Great eateries, coffee shops, wine shop, book shop, etc…

My husband and I moved to Travelers Rest a month ago, and we are absolutely thrilled with our decision to make The Standard by Pinestone our home!

We chose a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment, and it has exceeded our expectations in every way. The apartment is not only spacious, but it also boasts a beautiful, expansive kitchen equipped with modern and stylish appliances. There is an abundance of room for both of us and all our belongings.

The location of The Standard is truly exceptional. We find ourselves conveniently situated near the heart of Travelers Rest, with a multitude of restaurants, supermarkets, and essential services like UPS and USPS just a stone's throw away. What's more, the proximity of the Swamp Rabbit Trail is a dream come true for avid cyclists like us, as we can effortlessly access the trail in a matter of moments.

We would be remiss if we didn't highlight the outstanding level of attention and care we received from Milton. From our initial visit to the property, he stood out from the rest with his kindness, efficiency, and unwavering dedication to addressing all our inquiries. We truly appreciate his professionalism and commitment to ensuring our satisfaction.

It's also worth mentioning that the apartments and the entire complex are brand new. When we experienced a minor water leak in the bathroom sink, we promptly submitted a maintenance request through the resident portal on the website. To our amazement, Kyle resolved the issue the very same day.

Overall, our experience at The Standard by Pinestone has been nothing short of exceptional. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone in search of a comfortable, well-located home with a friendly and attentive staff.

For those with pets (dogs), they will be delighted to discover a dedicated park where their beloved furry friends can run around and socialize to their heart's content.

Living at The Standard by Pinestone feels like being in a peaceful oasis that we proudly call home!

Apart location is good for TR - but apartments are cheaply made and the Onsite management - there is a site manager that LIVES on site but is never around to help and a maintenance person on site that is also NEVER around. there are 3 others that are fine. But onsite maintenance took 5 months to replace my smoke detectors because they claimed they weren't the problem. I could not even boil water. Had to get the Fire Marshall involved. And yes - you cannot replace wired smoke detectors with wireless. the three other people - that live offsite are helpful. But for the money - suggest you go elsewhere.

Impressive site! The floor plans are very spacious with plenty of room for optional furniture layouts. The closets are a dream and perfect for keeping everything organized. The staff was able to answer all of my questions with any details I may have forgotten during my tour. 10/10 would recommend.

Mold - current renting experience

We let the office know we saw a lot of mold in our attic of our rented townhome on 6/26. Ended up happening July 25th. This might have happened earlier if management, Christina, took our request more seriously.
We had no confidence they would take care of this sufficiently from the get-go so we paid $600+ to hire our own mold testing company to confirm there was actually mold so we could take this back to our health care providers for treatment of our symptoms. Our company did testing of the mold and testing of the air which confirmed this.

The apartment had their own remediation companies come look at the mold without testing. As we learned from our own mold remediation company we paid for, it’s important to test the sample to know how to treat adequately. If you don’t treat adequately, you introduce the fruiting spores into your home even more so.

The remediation process - we had to stay on top of them to make sure they were remediating to our standards, of course, because the only person that cares about your own health and safety is you, and we knew the situation wasn’t fully communicated to them. It was inconvenient with working from home and having them visit four times, with having to clean our townhome after each visit from debris. We now have large loud air scrubbers running for multiple days.

I think what’s the most frustrating is how we were treated in this process, especially my husband. Comments were made to us such as it’s not really mold, it’s just staining, which we paid money to confirm it was actually mold. Management never apologized for her comments or took accountability for the fact we were exposed to mold for upwards of 7 months. I feel like we had to fight and advocate for our own health and safety all while being belittled in the process.

Overall considering the expensive rent, we would say our experience here has been less than expected. There was a stretch for over a month we had to contact the office several times to remind the construction workers not to completely block the only entrance street to our townhome. The inability to access or leave our townhome happened more than 7 times.
It’s a lot of the treatment like that which doesn’t make us feel valued as a resident. I also feel it necessary to note with the townhomes there is excessive road noise, especially at night. It wakes us up weekly even with multiple white noise machines.

EDITING after their response: I reached out as they instructed, and nothing, no response. They do not care about you as a resident, and whether or not you're living in harmful mold, and whether or not you have to pay yourself to determine what mold you're exposed to.
Also after my review they ran a raffle where you could win if you wrote them a 5 star review. Also their management has written five star reviews on here... so be wary..

I love living here! The apartment is wonderful, staff is very nice and helpful, and the amenities are great. The pool/grill is amazing, the gym has plenty, and it is very nice having trash collected nightly.
