Dinkins Auctions is a very courteous business. They will go out of their way to help someone that needs a vehicle. They are very friendly and upfront with you about information when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. They listen to your needs , concerns, and your price range and they do their best to find something that suits your desires. I would highly recommend this business to friends and family. I am extremely disappointed with the experience my elderly mother had at Dinkins Auto. After putting down $2,500 on a vehicle, it broke down within just 30 days, and the motor was declared bad soon after. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the quality of the vehicles they sell.

When we approached Dinkins Auto regarding the issue, their proposed solution was for my mother to find a mechanic, get the car fixed at her own expense, and then they would consider knocking the repair costs off the balance. This response is not only inadequate but also shows a lack of accountability for the vehicle they sold.

I even reached out to the dealership privately before writing this public review, but I received no response. From the reviews I've seen, it appears that this is a common issue with this dealership. It’s disheartening to see so many others facing similar situations. My mother is on a fixed income, and this situation has caused her significant stress and financial strain. Selling a car that fails so quickly should fall under the lemon law, and I believe that Dinkins Auto should take responsibility for their actions.

I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. Please do not spend your hard-earned money here expecting to get a reliable vehicle. It’s simply not worth the risk.

This has got to be the WORST dealership on the planet. I have never seen a car lot that sales bad cars that go out in a week, then they write a letter saying it was a repossession when it was given back, and you have to pay $100 for a letter saying you don’t own the car anymore. RIDICULOUS AND I WISH THERE WAS A NEGATIVE 5 STAR button. Don’t waste y’all’s hard earned money or tax money.

If you guys need a new (used) car. Please go to Dinkins! Ellen was amazing. She listened to my situation, this place was very understanding and forgiving with my (crappy) credit. I walked away with an SUV to die for. Miles low. Exterior and interior was great! It's been hard finding someone to work with me on my credit. And my situation but Ellen came through! And I cannot thank her enough. Never thought I could own an suv as such. They came through for me.

I bought my car from Dinkins Auto Sales On 1/25/25. Immediately took it to get new tires because they were a ONE on the tread scale. With tires that were 12 years old (mind you, my car is a 2017. Not even old enough to have 12 year old tires on it).
My car broke down ONE WEEK after I bought it. No big deal. This happens with used cars. The turbocharger needed replacing. (This is when we also found NO COOLANT in the car. Just a bunch of WATER.) I did the work myself so they refused to pause or hold payments because I was/am capable of working on my car myself.
I got it driving. Two days later, it breaks down AGAIN. ALL the camshaft and cranky shaft sensors needed to be replaced. Again, because I could do the work myself, they refused to do anything to help. At this point, i called to see if I can trade this car (that I had for 3 weeks at the time) in for a different model since this one was breaking down often. They refused. Said I'd be forfeiting my down-payment that's "non-transferrable". Fine, whatever. I changed the sensors myself. I drive it for LESS than one day AND IT BREAKS DOWN AGAIN. The STARTER has gone out!
So I bought this car a little less than 3 months ago.. and of those 3 months, my car has been drivable for a total of... 10 DAYS!!!
I make payments on time every week with $40 EXTRA every time and these people refused to help.

Mind you, I read every single review. And their responses definitely seemed like they TRY to be helpful. This seems to be a facade they put on to lure people in.
They were very pleasant when I was buying the car but the second it was off their lot, they no longer care AT ALL.
I don't even review places/items. Ever. But I feel like this NEEDED to be posted to warn others. Do not buy from here unless you want to get scammed.

I came across dinkins through tiktok, honesly found it too good to be true. but i gave it a go. I met with Justin while scoping the lot. little emabrassed that I didnt even have a down payment. explained my situation, and found out they have LAYAWAY! the terms are 2 months , which honestly was what i needed to get serious about buying a car. im SO HAPPY to say that right now i have drove away with my new toyota, and I cannot be happier, its been awhile since i was able to get a car. but having that option, and having somthing to put my money towards, really helped me save and keep the goal at hand. THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE AT DINKINS for helping yme get back on the road again!

On December 16th, 2024, I purchased a 2016 Ford fusion and the transmission went out in the car on December 19, 2024. Down payment of $1800 and continued to make payments even when the car was down, I previously posted a review but agreed to remove it because I was supposed to be given a transmission. They claimed they were working with me but gave me a hybrid transmission and the car I had wasn’t a Hybrid car. I notified them that my mechanic said it wouldn’t work, and I was told “it will work , we looked it up on google. Wasted $200 on a mechanic to go tow a hybrid car. I didn’t have the car a week, I then asked last week could I just put a down payment on something else, they told me no. I walked with the mechanic to get my things out of the car and to look at the other cars with transmissions that they claimed they could give me last week and the mechanic said out of his own mouth that they don’t work. Motor was gone in one , and motor and transmission in other. I would give zero stars if I could. I highly wouldn’t recommend!!!
