They were the only company that actually came to the house to see what I had. They weigh and base cost on weight. My cost actually went down from the estimate. All workers were great. Very pleasant and answered any questions. No deposit..balance due on delivery. Very good experience.

Our first point of contact and house tour was great. And the driver/head of the move was also great. However, the local crews that they used to load and unload our boxes were rather careless with them. We literally watched them drop our filing cabinets on the ground and then roll them over to wrap them in blankets. We had been told that we could leave things in drawers and cabinets, but obviously that was not the case. We had several items that were damaged -not because of the actual move, but because of the loading, and in particular, unloading of the truck by the local crews. I will add that everyone was very friendly and positive positive. We just wish that they had been more careful.

The entire team was very responsive throughout the move. The local teams that loaded and unloaded were very efficient and friendly. The driver was on top of things and kept things moving. All arrived very timely and in good condition. Thank you for a well executed move!

Packing was great, mostly satisfied with loading until the end it became more sloppy. Main issue was delivery. Delayed by 8 hours so crew didn’t arrive until 4 pm due to truck mechanical issue which I understand. But then the driver didn’t know he would need a shuttle. I had to personally drive him to get a u haul. They didn’t start delivery until 7 pm due to loading shuttle, finishing at 11:30 pm. They were understandably tired but it showed big time. No furniture was put back together and parts are missing. Walls and doors scratched and chipped. Items left in complete disarray making the storage area inaccessible. Then had to drive him back to return the u-haul. One of the movers was hitting on me saying he would come back to see me. Local office Veronica Joe at Anderson Transfer was dismissive when told of all the issues. For the price, very unprofessional and a hassle. Worst move of multiple moves to different states. Positives would be quick turn around from pick up to delivery and packing services.

I would definitely utilize North American Van Lines again for our interstate move. Their team members were very professional, on time, helpful and experienced. Our household arrived on time and packed very well. Kudos to Mike the driver, James the planner/estimator and to all the packing and loading/unloading crews who made this a much less stressful experience!!!
