This has been a nightmare. I rented an old house that was "supposed " to be remodeled but it wasn't. At least not to standard. The response time for issues was quick when I first moved in but now I feel as if they don't care. I report issues and nothing until I call inquiring about what's going on with the repair. The communication sucks. I send emails and no response. I actually don't understand because I pay my rent every month on time and shouldn't be living in a house with reoccurring sewer issues. There are times when my kitchen smells like poop. The entire house stinks and what was I told. "Oh it will go away when it rains". Yeah. In the meantime it did rain last week but I came home and my bedroom smelled like a sewer. Do your research. I know 80% of this is the cheap landlord but damn. I've been a landlord and we have rental property now and our property manager with our approval and support ensured long time happy tenants that lived in a nice comfortable home. I'm living in a slum.

Southeastern has been responsive and supportive to me, as a homeowner living out-of-state due to my job, for nearly five years now. Managing life matters from afar can be very stressful, but Southeastern has made it low-threat and even pleasant. For the most part, I'm completely hands-off with my home, and they have found good tenants and kept up with the maintenance. Most recently, Brittany helped me resolve an online access issue with ease, expertise, and friendliness. I recommend Southeastern as a property management company!

Lovely group of folks. Requires routine follow up on work orders but eventually get good technicians out. I believe they had some challenges with their employee responsible for maintenance issues. Slow on returning deposits- again will some follow up. Some odd policies like leaving water and electric in tenant’s name for 2 business days after move out , requiring tenants to sign over the interest earned on their deposits, and wanting tenants to pay a $300 relisting/advertising fee at move out (seems that should be the owner’s fee or the company’s cost of doing business), and taking a photographic record of the inside of the property at lease renewal.
Despite the above, reasonably good property management firm.

Love these funny reviews most likely the people that work for them but yeah when it comes to getting deposit back u gotta wait till last day to get it they tell u oh beginning of the week oh end of week why not just say the truth that’s why people get piss off just say get it the last day possible n on top of that when comes to fixing stuff good luck oh I give the repair man a call n they don’t n if they do the repair guy don’t give a crap come looks oh ok I be back to fix n don’t but if it’s the water at the trailer park oh they fast to get up on that cause cost them money out of pocket seeing they pay for the water there as soon as my bs lease is up not renting from them anymore oh n don’t think about getting the repairs done yourself n take it out the rent oh no no that’s a big no no because in the lease states u can’t do that be a shame if roof or floor or what not falls in lawsuit n guy lose his renting permit so much bad talking on them on facebook from bunch of people from stealing ur stuff to now fixing crap in the South Carolina community

Extremely disappointed by my experience dealing with the staff here. The woman who attended to me (do not remember her name but she had a lighthouse tattoo on her arm) was very rude and unprofessional. I was interrupted by her each time I tried to ask a question and was met only with snark and poor attitude. I understand that the office staff are not the people who own the properties but I will not rent from a place at which the people I must deal with regarding any further issues or concerns treats me the way this woman did. Every other place I have rented from has been kind, helpful, and welcoming unlike this person. Moving should be fun and exciting, but she ruined the would-be experience. Not to mention the fact that the properties were all completely trashed, lacking maintenance and repairs, and over priced for location and amenities. 0/10 will not be applying/renting from them.
