Next weekend I am moving. I thank God for finally giving me opportunity to move.
In my building there are four empty apartments. In a lot of the other buildings there are about the same or more.
People are leaving because of the noisy disrespect and nasty buildings. And nothing is being done about both of those issues.
The hallways in theses apartments are very NASTY. 🤮 The building I live in smells like vomit. All the time.Trash everywhere and stairs full of debris.
A friend of mines, a visitor, was about to get cleaning supplies sweep the stairs and clean my landing floor. I told her she better not!

The parents that lives here allow their kids to be loud and obnoxiously noisy inside their apartments. Property management doesn’t do anything about it. When the kids are out of school I suffer inside my apartment because of the kids and their constant noise.
The white woman in the office Christina talks about people business to the other tenants. How I know? She did it with me! I don’t trust letting this office know anything about me they way she just freely told me someone’s business. Ryan the head Property manager smells like alcohol and has a nasty attitude. Then the bigger fact, he’s racist.
They are better than the past office people not much.
Recently, we the an annual apartment inspection's ( they have a million reasons to need to come into our apartments)
Ryan the office manager did them himself.
A friend I have in a next building from me told me Ryan just came into her apartment without knocking first. ( that is what made me write this review because she didn’t want to)
I told her I wasn’t surprised. The office has no respect for black people! This is why he didn’t knock. As “legally” he was supposed to!
Legally he violated her rights of privacy and protection.
Then,
The joke about the inside apartment inspections. The HALLWAYS that management must go through all the time when they respond to any concerns in the buildings.
The hallways are disgusting! I will be calling the board of health as soon as I get all of my stuff outta here!

Why would any decent person who work hard and pay their rent have to deal with these kind of conditions. Live like pigs when they don’t have too.

Why, because the head top owners of the Assembly and the staff they hire don’t think African American people desire better than this.
85% of the Assembly tenants are black.
South Carolina has beautiful apartments clean, quite well kept for the same price.
Look around.

I can’t believe I had to write this but I can’t allow my sister to stay in the assembly any longer with roaches everywhere. And, no, I’m not the first one to complain.

Also, when I worked with Ryan Byrd, he would come to work high, drunk, or both on most days. This apartment complex is so upsetting when it comes to the cleanliness and maintenance that Ryan Byrd should’ve SOBERLY kept up with.

How can we live in a place that is looked over by a man that isn’t in his right mind? I hate this for our community.

If I can give a zero star review, I would!

The Assembly is so nasty and dirty. Then you have ratchet parents who lives on top floors and their kids RUN through the apartments bang, jump make all kinds of noise. You complain nothing is done. I live next to a woman who's little kid screams and yells and bangs on the wall every single day! THIS IS WHAT I AM PAYING MY HARD EARN MONEY ON.
Then lastly the hallways stay nasty.
They need to hire a cleaning crew, grounds keeps, night patrol and enforce There noise ordinance!
Saving to move as fast as I can.

Won’t even let you tour apartment they make you summit an application before you can even look at anything so basically they are taking peoples money and not approving people, just to make money off of application fees.

If you decide to live here DONT. I wouldn’t even apply.
Jean is a woman who is play in your face. I was supposed to move in June 24th around that time, Jean never submitted any paper work.
July comes, I still have never gotten a place there and I was calling her to get NETTA to respond and tell me Jean is busy.
Stephanie came in to save the day, but Jean isn’t a property manager. She is lazy.
She said she starts paper work and dosent complete it.
Due to her laziness I had to quit my job because she still didn’t have me onto an apartment 2
Months after starting the process.
If your looking for a low income apartment ad actually want the place look else where or talk to Stepanie.

It was nice at first.
But now it's too much noise and people are outside partying and etc.
You can hear everything from inside to outside them apartments.
I no longer felt safe so i had to break my lease and move ASAP......couldn't take it anymore and i wouldn't even let my kids go outside to play that's how bad it has gotten.
You have random people all in the breezeway that don't even stay in your building or don't stay at the apartments.
It was just terrible...

The apartments are nice but the people living there keep the stairways a mess. If the stairways are a mess, just imagine what their apartments look like inside. I think management need to get their tenants in check and keep their apartments looking presentable. The apartments are only about 6yrs old so don't let your tenants make you look bad management, I'm just saying 😕 my family member moved out and is now buying her a home for wayyyy less than what she was paying there. If you're young, don't think you're too young to buy especially if you're going to be paying what she was paying for a place like this IJS🤔🤔
